will this affect recording in protools at all off of stream? like if I do this to fix audio for a livestream, and then another day want to record a song in protools, will I have to readjust everything or will it still work after changing these settings?
The way that I do it is to set this I/O configuration as a preset, and switch back to the default configuration when I am working in my daw for recording. Thank you for watching!
@@Dnicovich Shouldn't we be able to record in pro tools without any issues? If we select the correct input in the daw and mute the mic in console(to avoid doubling the audio when monitoring in daw)... then enable monitoring from the daw which gets routed through consoles daw channel, so in theory it should work without issues even if you are not live streaming/screen recording as long as you set your daw input mic to match the input of io matrix in console
Also i would recommend routing Daw audio to another virtual stereo channel.. you can do this by creating a virtual channel in console and selecting it as the output in your daw.. so that way the daw audio is separate from system audio in console for better audio blending before hitting the final 2 outputs.
Update: Tested and works
the OBS Audio doesn't work with Apollo Twin....i have tried everything.
and i am not sure my UAD Apollo will work with any screen capture software at this point...i tried for years to get it to work with Corel, nope.

So yes, we have sound but everything is raw...
The basic settings are already as in your video.
What people want is to be able to use the effects, otherwise there is no point.
I thought you were going to sort out our problem... 😪😢😭😭😭
Thank you for your comment! Make sure in console, the insert effects button on the right is set to UAD REC and not UAD MON.

I was finally able to resolve my problem, I came across another video which explained that it was necessary to install a special driver for Asio.
And it works! 🥳🥳🥳
