bro i absolutely love you for this. I bought mine like a week ago and I love it but the only thing was i couldn't get my stream to pick up the mic and the in-game game chat to work. This was so easy that it was almost annoying. You saved me. Thank you.
Bro, you are SO welcome. Fighting with this thing was one of the most infuriating experiences I've had in recent memory. When I finally sorted it out, I was like "idgaf if this doesn't fit the type of content I normally make on my channel, I'm doing this. If it helps even ONE person, then it was worth it". You totally just made my day. Enjoy the new interface, they are pretty awesome! I'm still sifting through plugins myself and trying to figure out what works for me. @@fasthowto struggled with this myself when I first bought my Apollo twin a couple years ago, decided to try it again and remembered why I stopped lol there is a workaround for the thunderbolt version but for us USB not so much thank you for this video I am going to try.. I don’t have a problem getting OBS to recognize audio but as soon as I open up my DAW that’s where it fails
Yeah, the fact that there are differences in the software between usb and thunderbolt is VERY disheartening. They claim to do all these cool things in software, yet they can't even write proper drivers. I didn't have ANY of these issues with my old Scarlett interface - I just plugged it in and it started working immediately. Ridiculous.
Just wanted to send massive thanks from Scotland, Ive been in and out trying to solve this issue with my Apollo Solo and OBS and you have just sorted it for me in 5 mins, can't thank you enough mate
Somehow i cant get stereo sound out of it. I mean when i listen back, i only hear the left side. Thank u again for the vid, great tutorial! but half working for me, hope u can help!
No, the solution in the video works, you've messed something else up. The virtual cable isn't stereo or mono, it just "is". Since you've not really given much information to go on, I'm going to assume that listening to most things plays back in stereo, so you have a problem with your source - which is outside the scope of this video (not to mention I'm certainly no expert with this thing). Best of luck, hope you are able to get it sorted!

Is this solution just for streaming? Or does it apply as well if you are just using OBS to record?
