I was such a big fan of Maria. I remember watching this match feeling so nervous watching this girl with green hair give Maria a really hard time. She was so powerful, so imposing, such a scary big game. You just knew she'd become a top player. Today I have become a fan of Sabalenka as well. Amazing that it's been 6 years.
A great match. Even the commentators are amazed by the quality of such a smaller title final. It was the sunset of a past champion and the sunrise of a future one. You can se how both girls gave their all in this match, although you can already see Saba's choking tendencies.
