The First Descendant Story Synopsis
The First Descendant's plot revolves around humanity, evolution, power, and fate. The story begins 100 years ago when the Vulgus, a malevolent race, invaded the world, wreaking havoc and using humans as experiments. Then the Colossuses appeared, devastating literally everything on earth.
In The First Descendant, players assume the role of a Descendant, warriors tasked with defending humanity and the Ingris continent from the Vulgus. In the midst of this chaos, a group of technologically advanced beings known as the Magisters allied with the remaining humans in Albion, preparing for the last battle. The Magisters discovered the "Arche" in human genes, a DNA strand that indicates boundless potential. By merging their technology with human resilience, they created the Descendants, superhuman warriors with physical and magical abilities akin to the ancient Ancestors.
Humans saw significant progress. They began to use guns and gunpowder instead of swords and shields, and a group of chosen humans awakened their Arche and became Descendants. As Descendants, players will combat the Vulgus and even take on the formidable Colossuses. The Magisters' technology has revived hope, but the peace of the Ingris continent remains fragile. The new leader of the Vulgus, Karel, poses a greater threat than ever, and the fate of Ingris rests in the hands of the Descendants.
