We were always taught in the church choir that when you sing you are ministering to the people. It is important to know your audience as Jesus did. Jesus became all things to mankind that He may win some. This is why Jesus took on the form of flesh came to earth through the Virgin Mary to know what it felt like to be human, so He would know how to reach the lost. Some plant, some water, but only God can give the increase. Kirk Franklin did and continues to do just that, He plants the seed. You don't know how many people God used him to touch that night through song and by walking in the anointing that God anointed Kirk with. Because of that one encounter, hearing and seeing Kirk uplift the Name of Christ in the way he was called to could have encouraged someone to go to or back to church and give their live to or rededicate their lives to the Lord. I have learned it is not always a Call to Discipleship moment. But is always a call and moment to be obedient and walk in what and how God called you to bless the people and Kirk did that flawlessly as always.

Oh, how many times have people said that about Kirk Franklin since Stomp and probably before that. And Kirk, at his age, is still praising Him like it's still 1990-whatever. He has multiple Grammys and his music, I'd say, prompted the gospel award category to be split into sub-genres. Basically he created his own genre of African American gospel... He's as innovative and possibly as 'subversive' as 1970s gospel singers and groups that integrated and influenced disco and funk music.

We were always taught in the church choir that when you sing you are ministering to the people. It is important to know your audience as Jesus did. Jesus became all things to mankind that He may win some. This is why Jesus took on the form of flesh came to earth through the Virgin Mary to know what it felt like to be human, so He would know how to reach the lost. Some plant, some water, but only God can give the increase. Kirk Franklin did and continues to do just that, He plants the seed. You don't know how many people God used him to touch that night through song and by walking in the anointing that God anointed Kirk with. Because of that one encounter, hearing and seeing Kirk uplift the Name of Christ in the way he was called to could have encouraged someone to go to or back to church and give their live to or rededicate their lives to the Lord. I have learned it is not always a Call to Discipleship moment. But is always a call and moment to be obedient and walk in what and how God called you to bless the people and Kirk did that flawlessly as always.
Too bad Kirk will not move at all up on judgement, God got the last word, but at least Kirk dancing all the way to hell with a SMILE😂😂😂😂
