    Thanks Man... You saw my comment? I was exploring a 3D case... if you have to buy the 3D model, it doesn't make sense for just 1 computer. 3D model+Print+boton+USB+screws will be like a brand new case. I'm I right?

    • @Miyconst
      @Miyconst  6 місяців тому +2

      It really depends on how much a comparable chassis would cost you and whether you buy button/fan/USB from AliExpress or local market. In general, I would say it makes sense to buy the model if you plan to build two or more PCs.

    the only issue i have with this case is i can't print the side panels on my 245x245mm bed without doing the optional split, and i'm unsure why as the split is supposed to be for under 200x200mm, i don't know if i'm missing something or if it actually requires 250+mm and the website doesn't state it.

      I think 245 by 245 should be enough. What printer and slicer do you use? You can ping me on Discord and I will try to help.

    But if it's plastic, won't it melt at 80-100°C?

    • @Miyconst
      @Miyconst  6 місяців тому +2

      No, it's PETG plastic, melts at 200+ degrees Celsius.

    not perfect but very promising... can't wait to see the final pc assembly btw! great idea!
    I suggest to divide the 3d print in more parts, so that it won't be interruption between the bottom half and the upper one...

      I don't quite understand, how motherboard review would be affected by the chassis?

    • @greenprotag
      @greenprotag 6 місяців тому

      @@Miyconst It won't. It's an excuse to make a build to explore the aesthetics and build layout of the case AND to reference your other work. People like to see case reviews with a build inside. Instead of doing a board review AND a build video separately, you could do both in one video. It could ALSO be an excuse to use one of those white aliexpress referb cards. I think there is an A2000 and RX580 in white.

    • @Miyconst
      @Miyconst  6 місяців тому +1

      Oh, now I see what you mean, yeah, it could be interesting, regarding the white AliExpress cards.. I would much rather just print a custom shroud for a reputable GPU than resort to those questionable and rather fishy AliExpress offers.

    I would be interested to see if the heat generated by the GPU/CPU might weaken the case if it is printed in PLA. My home PC wouldn't get that hot, but those old Xeons can make a lot of heat!

    • @Miyconst
      @Miyconst  6 місяців тому

      PLA is a very bad option for such use, it warp and loses its property from heat but I printed in PETG which melts at 220C+ and PC temps aren't an issue for it.

    • @haydnbao4219
      @haydnbao4219 6 місяців тому

      Yea you can't use PLA. Use PETG. I know some people say their PLA case is fine, but that's because their environment and cooling not reaching the glass transitioning temp probably.
