@@plebisMaximus I used OSX on my work laptop for four years. I replaced Windows at home with Linux, even did some gaming on it, for one year.
They're all cancer. All in their own particular ways. Windows 7 wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but once you got familiarity, it at least got out of the way of you doing work.
The same could be said about Linux but the path to familiarity is much steeper and harder.

@@RetiredRhetoricalWarhorse I've been on and off various Linux distros for a good 6-7 years now and only last month reluctantly went back to windows 10 as a daily driver after uncounted numbers of tech problems and minor annoyances. I know the pain lol. MS got us by the balls simply by virtue of being the most supported, it's all just various flavours of dog poo.

@@plebisMaximus Yeah, I went through like three distros until I settled on kubuntu... not because I liked KDE that much better than gnome or anything, but I have a KVM setup and whenever I switched to the laptop and back, ubuntu would use the wrong audio device... every single time.
Since the death of forums, and the incursion of the scourge that is reddit, you can forget about getting questions answered online. Google search is worth crap these days so fixing that such annoyances was a pain.
Devuan refused to boot at all and Debian (or vice versa? hell I don't remember) had my user in the sudoers but the users couldn't sudo...
Mint had... other issues...

Order 67 reminds me of something I wish they had in the game, which would be a surprise war declaration. It'd be very hard to balance and implement, but it'd be a neat and also frustraring feature
