I just purchased the 2021 Mojave in black. The vehicle is an excellent example of off road performance and usability. Very happy with it. You explained it well.
I had to take the company work van in to get serviced at the local dodge dealership. The liner car they gave me was this exact same jeep but with the leather seats.Same color scheme and all.I had it for two days and I’ve never got so many looks in another car before. It’s not fast but it looks and rides great
Another great review, Mike! Seems to be a very popular vehicle here in Oklahoma, I see them on roads all the time. I do think they should offer the 5.7L Hemi as an optional engine. The 3.6L is definitely a great engine (I have the 3.2L variant of the pentastar in my Jeep Cherokee), but I think a bit more HP and Torque is needed for the Gladiator. Doubt the mpg would be much less with the V8.
UA-cam is full of JTs with various superchargers (SC) installed on this V6. You're looking @ $8-10K parts/labor, but you can easily bump her up to over 400hp. If you do heavy towing (mine will pull $6K lbs with stock V6) or add a lot of accessories to your JT (racks, tents, & other bed junk) as well as lift kits, larger wheel/tire packages, etc., then the SC is one option to add plenty of extra power.
Gorgeous! I have a '21 Mojave JT in same Sarge Green color, but don't have the 35" tires (yet). My sticker was about $4K higher due to leather, ACC, front trail cam, etc., etc. I only recently purchased my Jeep as a 2-yr lease turn-in with 33K miles, so that saved me about $18K off the sticker. Good review, of a great looking Jeep, sir!
@@pjfan173 🦆I’m retired, so mine’s a NDD. Love this JT, but she ain’t perfect. This Mojave’s Fox shocks need rebuilding before the 3/36 warranty expiration. Warrantied replacements were on back-order 2 months. And the rain guards on the removable top panels allow rain to drain onto the Jeep floor when opening the doors during a rain event. Otherwise, very pleased, especially with the great handling provided by the Mojave suspension. Yep, taking the grands out for a top down ride was a major positive in my buying decision process.
Excellent description video. Would appreciate a more in-depth discussion on how they got the steel bumper on there with the Mojave’s front skid plate designed to hold the reservoirs for the front shocks.
Thanks for your video. I feel that you have done a very thorough job of describing this truck. I did add a third-party dead pedal that gives one a place to rest their left leg while driving.
I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave as well it rolled off the assembly line may 25th 2021 I just wanted to bring something to your attention in your video about the hood scoop. It is not a real hood scoop lift up the hood and look underneath. However if you look on the passenger side at the grill just below into the right of the headlight. Is there you will see a hole. That is actually duct work that runs up inside inside to underneath the hood that is a factory mass air induction system, it runs right to the air cleaner.
awesome video. i will soon be trading in my tacoma for a mojave. either want the sting grey, green, or gobi sand. by the way, i want one of those yellow hand pointers lol
The penstar is pretty reliable. The eco diesel is junk. They had problems with the manuals clutch getting too hot. But its been fixed. This from a ford guy.
My Fox shocks are junk, front creaking badly. On back order from china since December. Under warranty ,glad mine is stock. Dealer said not the first bad set they have seen. 3200 dollars each in Canada. Buyer beware those that modify truck as dealers will reject claims where possible!
Hello Mike I just bought the exact same Jeep whit the sergent Green. It comes whit the falken 285/70R17. I love those tire but I would like to put some 35 on it whit out changing the original rim. My question is. Are you sure that the tire we see on this video are the Bfgoodridge M/T KM3 35x12.5R17? I ask because in the description of the tire on the website it’s seems that they only fit on a Rim Width Range (Min/Max) 8.50-11.00 and the original rim on this model is 7.5. Tanks for your answer.
@@philippelefebvre469 I asked Stephen and this is what he said, "The tire size is 35x12.50r17 which does have a recommended minimum width of 8.5 and the factory is 7.5. I am not doing any heavy off-roading so I wasn’t worried about the tire not sealing properly on the rim. However, since you have completed this video I did change my tires to a 35x11.50r17 because I wanted a tire that would tuck under the fenders a little better. The new tires are also about 15 lbs. per tire lighter which I can tell the performance is closer to the factory settings. "

So you're telling me that Moab gladiator package comes with all those drawers in the bed underneath the bed plus though you can't haul anything in there because it's too tall now you've taken the whole reason to have a pickup truck. You can't even haul anything in the band now what a waste
Usually not a fan of green vehicles, but that color works on a Jeep. 👍🏻
It’s looks even better in person

Agreed especially on the Mojave
The 5.7L V8 would be awesome considering the thought process behind the Mojave.
A Jeep spokesman said the low volume Gladiator will not be receiving a V8 engine. They can’t justify the development costs to the leadership team.

How are you liking it so far. Looking to maybe buy one as a non daily driver. Mainly to take the grandkids for rides in the summer with the top down.

Any news/comments/links on how they got the steel bumper, winch and skid plate on this Mojave? Didn't see that was an option.

There is storage behind the back seat also. And it locks with the key.

The rectangular space between the front cupholders is intended to store your key fob while in the vehicle.
And my iphone
One thing i wish i knew is does the passenger side seat lay all the way back, say if someone wanted to take a nap
That’s the exact one I want. So nice
Very detailed and thoroughly covered.
Awesome hand pointer prop thingy 😂👍

Would love to see a Ford Bronco review next.

Omg!! I was right in the poll-
1:30am?? Dedication. The video felt a little rushed not sure if that was because this was the owners personal vehicle? Great video regardless Mike!
I went through it a little quicker since I have a Gladiator Rubicon video (and test drive) that covers most everything here.
Did the 35s fit with no rubbing?

Some videos show a storage compartment hidden behind the bench, once folded.
They should have made that rear door a full door. It looks weird with that extra blank space

I doubt the original Jeep had an AM/FM antenna. Ridden in one and don’t recall seeing it
Of course. The original Jeep from WW2 didn't even have a radio. Also, FM radio wasn't widespread in cars until the 1970's.
