Fun Fact: Charlize Theron shaved her head for the role of Furiosa and as a result, she had to wear a wig for her role in A Million Ways To Die In The West (2014).
Music Enthusiast Fact: The flame-shooting guitarist is Australian artist/musician Sean Hape, better known as Iota. In an interview, he said the guitar weighed 132 pounds and shot real gas-powered flames, which he controlled using the whammy bar.
Practical Over CGI Fact: Over eighty percent of the effects seen in the film are practical effects, including stunts, make-up, and sets. CGI was used sparingly, mainly to enhance the Namibian landscape, remove stunt rigging, and for Imperator Furiosa's (Charlize Theron) left arm, which is a prosthetic limb.

I'm jealous, I can only imagine the how crazy it was, especially with theater level sound.
The score was amazing. Furiosa and Max had good arcs. A great villain wasn’t needed in this simple story of driving back and forth.
If you want to find out more of Max's back story there's 3 other movies that came before this.
Are they actually worth it, I think I read the others ones were a lot older and this was Tom Hardy's first one
@@JakeLovesStories I watched the two first ones, and if you want to know my opinion, movie 1 and movie 2 are very different. In fact, movie 1 is a bit boring compared to Road Warrior and this one. Just the setting up. However, I enjoyed Road Warrior a lot. That one is fun and very entertaining. Maybe not as espectacular as this one, but close enough taking into account that it's from the 80's and everything. Don't know if you would like to record your reaction for those, but maybe watching them for yourself or with a friend? 🤔

Yeah this movie in particular kind of throws mad max bye the wayside if you want to see his character arc I’d watch the original first movie from the 70s it will make more sense but also It’s a better movie with a smaller budget not as good looking as this which kind of sucks that they did this to the character idk why I’ve heard rumors that certain people took control away from the director
Nah, the director wanted a Furiosa movie, Max is a side character because he already had a trilogy, they wanted to tell new stories from a new perspective, start a new trilogy probably idk why a sequel hasn't been made yet, Fury Road did really good
Out of curiosity... did you know The Walking Dead had its series Finale a week ago? I know you moved on SEVERAL years ago at this point... but curious on your thoughts at least, hehe
I don't know how I feel since a friend told me most of the characters will be in spin offs, so it really feels like the only thing ending is the name of the show. But I still want to catch up just for the closure, that show taught me so much and was the base of this channel for the first 3 years.

At the very least, you already watched Rick's final episode, so the most important thing to do is to watch Michonnes final episode, then the after credits scene. Both of those are mostly self contained stories relevant to Rick/the spinoffs
Mad Max : Fury Road is a sequel to a series of movies originally starring Mel Gibson (that's how he because famous). Films were Mad Max, Mad Max 2 : The Road Warrior and Mad Max : Beyond Thunderdome (that's the origin of the word in popular culture). The first Mad Max movie is the story that explains Max's solitary behavior.
