Haha so this is actually a very common issue with this phone. Its the actual hinge defect which caused the hinge to slip and bulge out while closing randomly and cracks the screen.

I have got Samsung Galaxy fold4. Both screens smashed ,can’t see anything. I just want my data from it. I have tried hdmi method but failed. Could you please guide me? Thank you.
do you think this will work on the z-fold side of the family. (note I just watched a video that basically said you can use the mouse to draw the unlock pattern on androids as soon as you plug it in.)
Yes the z fold has a fully functional external display just like the internal so should be even easier to navigate if for some reason your touch function is not working after a drop.
Is there anyway to do this without the hub? I can unlock my phone on the outside screen, but cant allow for connections or the smart switch. Ive connected it throhgh USB to my laptop but im so lost.
Unfortunately I dont believe so. Im not sure of another way to do it.

I havent tried with Dex but im pretty sure it does not support Samsung dex. But I trannsfered all my files via samsung smartswitch.
I have a Z-flip 1 with a broken screen, how can this be done without unlocking the screen. Why can't you input the pin once the phone is plugged in using the mouse?
Unfortunately, I never had a zflip 1 no way to mess with it. That is there security setup, kinda annoying but their trying to prevent someone hacking into a phone by plugging it into computer and allowing it to auto generate codes. Sorry I cant help you.
Sir do you recommend buying this phone? I want to buy 1 after my graduation but Im scared its fragile and will break easily. Is it worth it? If not, Can you recommend a good one?
The phone is definitely more fragile than regular bar phone but not by much. My main concern is the hinge defect, and idk how many devices it affects but thats main thing thats been breaking the screen without even dropping phone. If this has been corrected with newer manufactured one's then its a great phone. I ended up selling mine and have the S24 plus just because of that issue.

Its hard to say what it could be as their are many factors including unsupported hdmi hub, bad cable connections. Wrong input channel on screen, bad hub connection. Just double check everything or try a different hdmi hub or a different screen or tv.

How were able to screen mirror it, I thgouht the zflip4 didn't have video out? My zflip4 doesn't show on screen even after unlocking it?
Just follow steps in Video and it will work. You need a adapter like one I bought off amazon.
Any lucky with the flip4? I have been able to unlock my flip4 with biometrics and it doesn't work like this.
@gregshearer9170 unfortunately I dont have one to test out, but I dont believe this exact method will work because you cant access the drop down menu
