Actually to be honest , most of the modelling agencies or designers where I work with they hire slim and skinny models. It’s a harsh reality out there. This has been ongoing for years.

It's been my experience once or twice in real life, but mostly what I've seen in tv shows and movies. (90210) for example. That those who make fun of, and ridicule others, have a poor self-image, and/or severe lack of self-confidence. If a person tears down others' self-worth, it's usually to build themselves up. (Or try to, anyway ) If someone is trying out for a certain spot in a play, on the cheerleading team, a job, etc; and feels the need to destroy other's self-confidence before going in for try-outs, interview, whatever; or try to shake their competition up with bad news, prior to going in ahead of them, (telling a certain person, her boyfriend is cheating on her, or reminding her/him of the recent loss of a loved one, or mentioning something she already feels guilty about) it's usually because that person lacks personal confidence. If you know you are good, highly qualified, and stand at least a better than average chance of getting whatever you are aiming for, then you don't need to destroy others. It's far more satisfying to defeat a worthy opponent, than it is, to defeat an opponent who never stood much of a chance, anyway. Most bullies are cowards. And even in most cases, where a guy preys on young virgin girls for sex. They lack confidence that they're any good in the sack. A girl who's never had sex won't necessarily know that you're a loser in bed if she has no experience to compare it to. That statement may get me a lot of controversies and debates. But that's my opinion.

This is a great video. Back in the day, even 20 years ago many people believed that you had to be skinny to be a model. I like that nowadays that has been proven false. You can be any color or size and be pretty at the same time. Modeling is a bit more diverse now which is awesome, but this just paves the way for the future.
I'm not fat or real skinny, but I definitely like to have a shirt that says "just because you're skinny, doesn't mean you're hot." Just for girls like this, and I always wonder why people cared about how skinny or how big a person is. If it's not your body, then keep it to yourself. If you feel like you have to put down someone for how they look, then you're just insecure.
I've been on the opposite side of this situation......making a long story short,in my early 20's about 15 years ago I did some modeling for this B magazine. I'm about 5'7" and 112lbs,which makes me a size 0-double 0. There were a couple other girls there that were plus size models along with several other skinnier girls like myself. But why they chose to target me IDK. I literally never even looked at them until they started asking me how many times I put my finger down my throat to achieve my size! I never did that and I also eat like a 300 lbs fat man! Ive been trying and struggling to gain weight for years. It's my metabolism and I'm always active on top of that with my family and kids and 10 furbabies. I explained to them that I wasnt there for competition,especially when WE were the finalists! They were just rude and maybe jealous. But I had a couple other girls come to my aid and they got the hint. NO ONE talked to them for the rest of the 3 hour shoot. So please remember,this can go both ways. And it's hurtful either way. True beauty though,that's on the inside xxx.

I wish there was someone who was there to believe in me when I was younger and was dreaming. Because I don't have that much self esteem. I've been put down all my life for being big, even though I was active and tried everything possible to loose weight. I couldn't, I was told by my own family that I wouldn't amount to anything. So guess what I'm nothing, I'm over 50, a disabled veteran and that still wasn't good enough for my family to be proud of me. I'm not even proud of myself, because there are months when I can't afford to pay the bills or get my meds or buy groceries. I'm so tired of being broke and not having a house of my own that I own out right. Not rent because I'm tired of renting. But my credit is bad and I don't have the money for a deposit or anything like that.

It's been my experience once or twice in real life, but mostly what I've seen in tv shows and movies. (90210) for example. That those who make fun of, and ridicule others, have a poor self-image, and/or severe lack of self-confidence. If a person tears down others' self-worth, it's usually to build themselves up. (Or try to, anyway ) If someone is trying out for a certain spot in a play, on the cheerleading team, a job, etc; and feels the need to destroy other's self-confidence before going in for try-outs, interview, whatever; or try to shake their competition up with bad news, prior to going in ahead of them, (telling a certain person, her boyfriend is cheating on her, or reminding her/him of the recent loss of a loved one, or mentioning something she already feels guilty about) it's usually because that person lacks personal confidence. If you know you are good, highly qualified, and stand at least a better than average chance of getting whatever you are aiming for, then you don't need to destroy others. It's far more satisfying to defeat a worthy opponent, than it is, to defeat an opponent who never stood much of a chance, anyway.
Most bullies are cowards. And even in most cases, where a guy preys on young virgin girls for sex. They lack confidence that they're any good in the sack. A girl who's never had sex won't necessarily know that you're a loser in bed if she has no experience to compare it to. That statement may get me a lot of controversies and debates. But that's my opinion.

Models can be successful & gorgeous at any shape or size! Not everyone finds a size 00 or a size 2 beautiful. A woman who's confident with her body & herself is the most fabulous of all! Don't listen to negative opinions about your appearance by anyone. If they're critical of you, it's probably just because they're jealous of you, or have poor self image, so they feel it necessary to put others down. All ladies are beautiful. Stop the competition already! Just because one woman may not look like another, doesn't mean she's not pretty. Stop the judgement & body shaming! Be kind to each other always. Life is tough enough.☺️

This is a great video. Back in the day, even 20 years ago many people believed that you had to be skinny to be a model. I like that nowadays that has been proven false. You can be any color or size and be pretty at the same time. Modeling is a bit more diverse now which is awesome, but this just paves the way for the future.

I'm not fat or real skinny, but I definitely like to have a shirt that says "just because you're skinny, doesn't mean you're hot." Just for girls like this, and I always wonder why people cared about how skinny or how big a person is. If it's not your body, then keep it to yourself. If you feel like you have to put down someone for how they look, then you're just insecure.

I've been on the opposite side of this situation......making a long story short,in my early 20's about 15 years ago I did some modeling for this B magazine. I'm about 5'7" and 112lbs,which makes me a size 0-double 0. There were a couple other girls there that were plus size models along with several other skinnier girls like myself. But why they chose to target me IDK. I literally never even looked at them until they started asking me how many times I put my finger down my throat to achieve my size! I never did that and I also eat like a 300 lbs fat man! Ive been trying and struggling to gain weight for years. It's my metabolism and I'm always active on top of that with my family and kids and 10 furbabies. I explained to them that I wasnt there for competition,especially when WE were the finalists! They were just rude and maybe jealous. But I had a couple other girls come to my aid and they got the hint. NO ONE talked to them for the rest of the 3 hour shoot. So please remember,this can go both ways. And it's hurtful either way. True beauty though,that's on the inside xxx.

i can learn so many Life lessons about life by watching Mr.Luis on youtube then i could at a actual school classroom. Luis one lesson i learned from you was that as a male i could bash around with other males but females are a fragile rare delicate majestic dazzling beauty gift of life that we much shelter with love by wrapping our arms around her as we tell her how much we love her and how important she is to us.
I wish there was someone who was there to believe in me when I was younger and was dreaming. Because I don't have that much self esteem. I've been put down all my life for being big, even though I was active and tried everything possible to loose weight. I couldn't, I was told by my own family that I wouldn't amount to anything. So guess what I'm nothing, I'm over 50, a disabled veteran and that still wasn't good enough for my family to be proud of me. I'm not even proud of myself, because there are months when I can't afford to pay the bills or get my meds or buy groceries. I'm so tired of being broke and not having a house of my own that I own out right. Not rent because I'm tired of renting. But my credit is bad and I don't have the money for a deposit or anything like that.
