I'm going to be straight foward right now:
While this is a good life lesson, the bullies don't seem to have true remorse. They are all only sorry if their victim becomes wealthy and rich. If she were an average, humbler worker with a family and still wearing the same glasses, Jessica would've still been making fun of her even as a 30+ year-old woman.
Bullies generally don't change. I'm not sure if I would accept someone's apology just because I'm wealthy and run a business. It should be apologizing because you have true remorse and know it's wrong, regardless if your victim becomes rich or not.
Yeah the story wasn’t real life, bordered on fantasy. Bullies do change but life is such that the bullied girl like other bullied people might not have a super successful life & that makes the end of this story as pointless as they come. So the bullied girls value is only in her production & the “hot” in her looks. Pretty basic stuff..

I would have called security and had her marched out of the building. I remember when I was a junior doctor this guy came in with an asthma attack. It was so severe he was barely concious. I got him back and in the morning when my seniors were doing their ward round he said "who was the doctor who saved my life? I want to thank him personally." i came to the front. He wanted to shake my hand and I reminded him of how he bullied me at school. I said "I didn't want to save your life after what you did to me. However it's what we do." I then walked off.
