Good news for people from the UK, you can now sail to Greenland and back on a new cruise line, Ambassador on board their ship Ambiance. Ther big cruise lines now don't do there after Carnival stopped that after taking over Cunard but now it's possible, I went to Ilulissat, and other towns, 20 years ago and got sunburnt and had one of the best experiences of my life.
Thank you for your post, I can't wait.....and start spreading the news.....Greenland might be the most expensive flights you will ever catch, but Air Greenland have just introduced Kr.1995 one way tickets from Copenhagen to either Nuuk, Sisimuit or Ililissaat, so you can fly to one, then get the boat to the other, and then return for £ 600 including all flights and boats inbetween Ililisaat and Nuuk, plus you get two nights in Kangerlussauq while you wait 23 hours for connecting flights too, so you get to see a bit more of the place, and those who follow Greenland air-fares will know immediately that this is less than half the price it has ever been, so there has never been a better time to Go Green, and no, this is not a advert being placed on behalf of some crafty Eskimos who can't be arsed to pay for advertising space online......
thats great news! Ive just returned last night from a Very Expensive! summer trip to Greenland and already am trying to find a cheaper way to return soon... Its the most beautiful place Ive ever seen.

日本からデンマーク経由グリーンランド。
平地が少なくローカルへはほとんどがヘリコプターで移動でした。
住民よりも犬の数が多いですね。
現地には気の合う友人もできました！
ここILULISSATの氷河からは当時毎日100万TONのICE BERG が流出している
との事でした！
毎日ゆっくりと変わり行くこれらのICE 群見ていても空きが来ませんでした。
海の幸が豊富ですね！
