Looks lovely and beautiful. I especially liked the bit where the man came out on his snow sled and he was being dragged along across the road on his snow sled by dogs LOL!😂🤣 that was funny.
I totally understand you! 😆 But the winter in these last years have been so warm. Like only - 20 degrees celsius or above. We have not the weather that we use to had for 10 years ago. The climate is changing.
I’m English but live in Australia and I love what I’ve seen of Greenland so far. Love your town, it’s so colourful. I follow Nuuk live stream of the airport and have always wondered what the other towns further north are like. I would love to visit your beautiful country but too old now. Thank you for bring this great tour of IIuIissat to us.
nice mood very beautifully captures the colorfully artic beauty of Greenland... PS. with the serene mountain landscapes at the beginning, it would have been great to enjoy everything at live(x1) speed, but, its always the artists choice...
You can play videos at 1/2 or 1/4 speed in UA-cam. I like the faster speed because I can always slow down or freeze scenes I want to check out in more detail.
I imagine that people are friendly and you probably have many friends. I live on a big town in the US and I always feel lonely. Thanks for the video. Very peaceful and nice.
As someone from a distant land I would love to try visiting such place and learn from its geography and people sometime soon. Warmth, from the tropical Philippines!
Yeah, we park our cars outside all year around. There are only few rich people who has garage in their houses. Fishing makes the most of income for the city. There are many fishermen here.
Thanks for sharing, very refreshing during current situation :). Me and my wife were here in September 2019. We have travelled many countries but haven't seen better place than this till now. Gone were those golden days, not sure if we can make it up once again :( .
Thanks! Finally our contry is opening up again for other countries now, and some people from other countries has begun to arrive and explore the nature of Ilulissat. You sure can come again and enjoy our country in the future.
@@gaabajensen9330 Thank you very much for the information. We are planning for this November again. But not sure whether flights will be in operation from London :).
Okay. Our country opens up normally this tuesday, and all the things you must have to get here is negative test for covid-19 and a electronic travel confirmation to our country.

Sorry for the late answer. There is about 4500 - 5000 people in Ilulissat. But they are building a new big airport, and people started moving here because of that. So the city is growing.
Looks like a good social life would be important, and church ought to be part of it all. What else is there to do? Party, read, go to the movies, fish, hunt?
Yes it is important, the church as well. There is a bar where musicians play music in the weekend wich is called Naleraq. There are hotel bars/restaurant that serves food, beer and cocktails. There is a local small movie theater that shows limited requested new movies. Then there is the nature that you can explore with help from local guides. Many likes Jan Cortsen and Ilulissat Tours.
Hello Gaaba. Thank you for your video. My husband and I will be in your city for 2 days while on a cruise from the UK. We arrive on the morning of 2nd July, stay overnight and leave the following evening. Would it be possible to meet? We'd love to meet a local family
Hello Shelley. I am glad to hear that you are going to visit our city. Unfortunately I will be travelling in Europe in that time. I hope that you will find a family that will show you our culture. There is local guides that you can find on facebook who's willing to show you that you want to see.

What is the coldest temperature there in winter time?
Temperature is changing in the last 15 years, sometimes is around -20°C, sometimes -30 to -40°C. But the extreme cold winters are over.
