Excellent video which covered all topics. However if I can make a couple of comments: 1. Because the pontoon are really just floating sleepers with about 10cm above the waterline, we have found that letting them float horizontally on the water is the only way to protect the hull. 2. I think the actions of your crew on the bow was an accident waiting to happen. Apart from the huge length of the bowline, her hanging off the bow outside of the guardrails and struggling with the line by hanging inboard without holding on was asking for trouble. Much better would be to exit the boat at the widest beam midships by sitting on the toerail and stepping off easily instead of taking a leap from the bow. Falling into the water between the pontoon and the hull is really dangerous and if you are the only other person on board an unsecured boat, then what next?
All great points and I agree with you 100 percent! We definitely learned some lessons - many of which are what NOT to do. Great advice and appreciate you for adding some great insight.
