Haha, what the hell? I am missing out on some really cool older games! You have a jump, a dash, a little bullet-blocker, all while adventuring through some great looking levels?!? Damn that's cool! I need to get out of my shmup bubble more often!
It's probably the game I'm most looking forward to for the rest of the year, lol. It'll be out in just a few days, with a western release a month or so later? Not sure.
I loved that game as a child. The Reshined version has new playable chars and that is cool but I prefer the SNES game anyway because I love the ending. Black Mantle is gone, there aren't brainwashed victims anymore, and everyone return happy to home. How nice!
3:32 Whoa... I never knew that secret... 5:21 Wow...! 11:08 Another one. 16:08 O_O 16:12 Yee-haw. ;b Joking 23:46 Goodness. 36:10 Salvation Wow. Almost reach 500k points on hard mode. Great playthrough. I hope you play the second and the remake (the one from GameBoy Advance) someday.
I played the second one for a few days, but I couldn't record a good run before the new game came out. I need to go back to it before I forget what to do lol. I haven't tried the GBA one yet but I'd definitely like to.
It's mainly based on this game, but it looks like it's also going to include some elements from the sequel, as well as new stuff. And everything is completely reimagined, I'm not sure if they'll carry any of the design over exactly. They've already done a great job with Wild Guns Reloaded and especially The Ninja Warriors Once Again, I wouldn't be surprised if this remake ends up being their best work yet. It looks amazing.
It's really just a new game. Unlike Wild Guns which was a pretty straightforward remake with stuff added to it. the stages and bosses are completely different, I think they just sold it as a "remake" of the first SNES game to let people know that it was going to be more like that game and less like any of the others in the series which are all quite different. the plot (SPOILERS? I guess lol) is also a sequel though also a prequel with a goofy time travel angle
Hell yeah shout out to the legends natsume! They made such fantastic games
Amen. God bless Natsume. #1Up

I wasn't aware of a remake coming out. Will have to keep an eye out for it.

This was one of my favorites on the SNES. It's funny to see it here today because I was just talking about the theme song yesterday! 😊
Perfect timing! Looking forward to you going through the reshrined edition

Will the remake be the exact same game? Cause it looks like.

Nicely done! Is it a 1 loop only game or is it an endless loop like the first game?
It's a single loop game

Not a hard game? Um, sure, I think that as well..
