The background noise for context is excellent!

Ahhhhh I can’t believe high quality audio practices like these are actually freeeee!!! JapanesePod101 you’re the besttt
That moment when you realize you understand 90% of this😱
Don't forget to thank your Crunchyroll, VRV, Funimation, or other Anime Streaming Platforms for this knowledge
@@_phong.huynh_ I would watch videos of tips for learning Japanese and almost all of them say not to learn from anime or manga because the stutters and slang can be confusing but anime and manga have been one of the only reasons I understand what I'm learning. And since I cant practice of real people I can try identifying when to use certain words because of anime and dramas. It's really helped me with learning and I haven't even been at it that long.
Right. I was like doubting myself like there's no way I'll understand most of what their saying until I heard it.
Anime influence💖
Yasss. Thank you, anime 😂
This is very useful, I wish the phrases stayed in the screen a bit longer., and that there were kanji + furigana instead of only kana.
nmkrios YES!
And that's what furigana is for.
Change settings: x.75 or x.50 until you feel comfortable going at faster speed(x1). That's what I do.

I’m glad i learnt this, my class is getting 2 new japanese students i don’t know when but i want to make a good impression lol
I really need an update to this

Which country ur from?
yeah girl it's been a year
Man!! After watching this whole video.......I've grown attached to the 3 characters.
Taylor, Masato and Kaori.
Is dat pathetic of me?
Naah it was the same for me, i was sad when muttely didn’t go to japan with them ):
Step 1: watch with subtitles
Step 2: listen to the audio only
(while laying in bed to sleep is a great time)
works for this video, movies, anime, you name it.
Make your brain do the work for you!
I'm running it this way now. I can keep up through about 6-7 minutes before I feel the need to check.
I listen to this video a lot 😂 when I was in school I’d sit outside and listen to it while eating my lunch. I’m listening to it right now while playing animal crossing 😂😂😂
Intresting. I'll give it a try.
Is a nice strategy :)
becareful many times Anime subtitles are criminally wrong.
The part where they were saying goodbye or hope to see you again made me tear up a bit. Because it reminded me of when japanese students came to my school, and I got to talk with them in japanese. And then they left, and now I dont have anyone to talk to in japanese. 😔those days.
You guys should make your own anime for simple Japanese scenarios (or just record it) body language would really help but right now as just audio it’s amazing!!
these dialogues are so easy but at the same time so fun to listen to!
Feels like I'm listening to an anime conversation, especially the "oishiiiiii" part.
im actually happy, with this i feel like i get close to 90% of it, whereas some of the other beginner ones feel like just filling in blanks, and i have to look at the screen to figure it out
Hello, dear Japanesepod101 team. This is a very interesting and funny type of lesson :) I would like to see more of it in the future. Greetings from Poland (Europę).
This video is filled with so many useful phrases! I love this channel so much
I guess people dont watch the video till the end. There's clearly a wrong translations of phrases from 24:10 until 24:17 but I digress. Doumo Arigatou for the good video.
Oh yeah, i know this is two years old but im pretty sure 24:10 doesn’t even say japan in it. (I am new, so i could be wrong)

"Taylor, what is this?"
"Rat poison"

Seriously though, thank you for so many examples and the great editing and voice acting :)
The amount of detail in the background noise is amazing
This voice acting is simply perfect!
Never learned so much japanese from a single video. Amazing work!
i love to listen to this while cleaning and seeing if i can understand the sentences in conversation! domo!
The good actors and the background sounds really adds up to the immersion. Thank you for the free content!!
I really liked this one. Easy enough to follow along, small scenarios instead of just single sentences (aka comprehensible input) and you also repeated a lot! Repetition is good.
My only wish is that it would have been at a higher level - I knew pretty much everything in this video. Do you have similar videos but for a more intermediate level? 😃
I love learning this language and culture!
Can you guys make more dialogues like this? 😭 it’s so helpful for listening practice
I agree it's so good
"good morning" in japanese it's literally the state of Ohio 😂😂😂 if you live in Ohio you already know how to say "good morning" in japanese hahahah
Thank you! this is perfect.
This is soooo useful, please keep it up Risa san
You put so much effort into these clips 😊 Thank you so much 🌹 💕
this is super helpful! a lot of beginner vids are extremely difficult and def too hard for beginners but this is a great start!
I LOVE THIS!!!!!! THIS IS WAAAY EASIER!! ESPECIALLY FOR 12YEAR OLD ME! Though i kinda wish it had the romaji form too
I totally understand. I’m only a few years older, and I remember struggling with kana and romaji. I really advise to learn kana (at least hiragana) before moving on to conversations like these. Doing that allows you to see helpful patterns.
I'm 11 and I totally feel the same! You should try that Japanese man yutas lessons it's REALLYYYYY HELPFUL!!!
Dude not having romaji makes learning hiragana better. Because you are forced to deal with it
Someone might have already said this, but you should totally learn to read hiragana. If you actually go to Japan, they're not going to have the romaji underneath for you, so it really does help to learn to read and write it! :)
@@chrisdarcyxx8747 Hello, the problem is that you do not do too much with only Hiragana. Almost ALL what you see in the street use the 3 parts (Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana) all at once. Makes easier stuff even harder.
I listen to this every day, thank you so much😀
This was actually one of your most helpful videos.
I love it. I get to practice my listening and the vocabularyive learned.
Now I wish theres an anime with this easy type of diologue lol
Is there?
Try children’s shows... it might not be as interesting for you, but if it’s meant for a child it should help
Wow this is a great video for learning Japanese. EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for
Thank you for this video! I listen to it every time I go to sleep. It's relaxing to follow a story and easy to memorise :) I like that it's all in japanise. Hope you will make more videos like this! :D
This video seems highly effective and awesome when combined with note-taking.
This is really cool. Worth to be downloaded
Keep them coming JapanesePod101!! good stuff!
This was so helpful! I feel so proud i almost understood it all :)
they are speaking like charecters from anime
thats how they really talk...
I was thinking the samething but like what Christian said they talk like that.
That's the way they actually talk haha that makes me love Japan even mooooore
@@sograteidrissirochdi6527 its worst in the stores, they greet EVERYONE... and I know they've seen the same Fucking guy 5 times already Because it was me!!!

the sound effects make this so awesome and funny at times,
Great work :D
It's been such a long time since I originally listened to it, and I listened to it again, and now I'm listening again for at least the third time. By the time I watch it again, I hardly remember what happens, but there's this sentiment to it that I love ;-;
Thank you so much for letting this exist~! I love the characters, the voices, the scenarios - it's just so useful, entertaining, and heartwarming for me.
本当にありがとうございます。
These are amazing for learning especially since I start imagining the characters!
Thank you for all the efforts for this video. So much clarity n words ! Domo arigatou gozaimasu ! Honto ni !
27:40 “weird face” became “are you alright?”
This what I have been looking for. perfect intro conversations to listen to.
This is a great! The sound affects really help us understand the situation without putting English words in there.
Wow i like it, this strategy is more useful, thanks team 😘
Thanks a lot for the non-kanji subtitles, this is very educational.
except nihon ;) but i guess this one is the first 2 kanjis one should learn :D
Thank you for this video, its great for early listening practise.

This is amazing. Arigatou gozaimasu
I love that I understand a lot of this listening, still gotta improve my reading though👌👌
I may be coming to Japan soon, so this is greatly appreciated!
