    Mikuさん、こんばんは! 僕もオーストラリアに住んでいた時、CONNOISSEURっていうアイスクリームをスーパーで買って、めっちゃ食べてました!😄👍 僕、最近アイスクリームを食べながら、Mikuさんの動画でMikuさんとかMikuさんのチャンネルに出てる人の考え方を聞いて、いろいろ勉強させてもらっています。ありがとうございます!

    I started Japanese 1 and half year ago and I'm still a baby and Miku sensei among many others is one of my mother who nurtured me along the process of learning this beautiful language. Thank you miku sensei. I am forever grateful and indebted to you.

    Yuyu-san の考え方とてもおもしろいです。深くて、賢い。especially the part on see-saw and how sometimes we should be standing still or taking it easy instead of working too hard, because the pivot is moving. it's a great analogy!
    i also think the last point in the video is so impt. what we like, whats our unique situation, we need to understand this first, before we can decide the right balance and mix of play, work, and other pursuits in life.

    The conversations are always interesting and useful for learning Japanese. Thanks Miku!
    As for the content of this conversation, it's a topic that's a lot to talk about.
    I think it's important to distinguish between material richness, basic economic conditions, dignity and excessive ambition/greed.
    A economically poor person can feel rich and happy (like you said in the video), even if he don't have stable economic conditions, but it's a matter of basic social justice to offer everyone the minimum conditions to live with dignity (having a roof over their head, food, clothing, access to health and access to education/culture/entertainment). Without this, a human being will always be incomplete.
    What often happens is that economically disadvantaged people don't have a real sense of their situation due to a lack of practical comparison. In other words, they know they are economically poor, they miss a lot of things, but they don't have the same idea if, for example, they had already lived a decent, unburdened life. If you've never tried chocolate, you may know that it's sweet and tasty, but because you've never tried it, you don't really miss it. That's why it's so important to raise awareness among disadvantaged sectors of society, to show them that they should fight for the things they are actually entitled to.
    Similarly, but inversely, rich people often don't seem to value the wealth and privileges that their money offers them. This is where education comes in, for example, for children from wealthy families, showing them that they shouldn't waste food (because some people have nothing to eat) or showing them the importance of nurturing feelings of empathy towards people in economic difficulties.
    The ideas that are organized around these ways of seeing the world and the society, are called "ideologies". They are usually separated into "right" and "left", for reasons that do not fit here to elaborate. And the way these ideologies are put into practice, is called "politic".
    As it's a subject that generally raises a lot of passionate and often irrational controversy, I'd rather not elaborate further, but I think everyone will be able to understand the differences between the two major ways of thinking and organizing the world we live in: "left" and "right" (even though I'm greatly simplifying this subject).

    Honestly, I think it would be better not to have any English on the screen. Its not allowing me to practice understanding the sentences myself when the answer is just appearing. Keeping the English as optional subtitles is much better for immersion. If I don't know a word I would rather look it up myself.

    • @airokushido2026
      @airokushido2026 3 місяці тому +1

      I think its better to use subtitles while not totally relying on it, because if you don't understand anything its just like trying to read kanji with no prior knowledge. Which means you're not going to go anywhere. I feel like with subtitles, you have the opportunity to figure out how words are structured, and what words means what using context clues. and figure out how they apply them in normal conversations.

    • @airokushido2026
      @airokushido2026 3 місяці тому

      And if you keep trying to look up words, you'll break the immersion, and have trouble trying to figure out how to naturally apply them in your conversations.

    Incredibly confusing to have some of the sentences at the top then all of it at the bottom why not just have all of it at the top or bottom. I'm not saying it to be offensive, i just think it would be better to have all of it in one place as its just confusing and looking at two diffrent places at once is impracticable

      I think it’s a good idea that they’re giving the options if you like to read it with english sub or without, it’s not that confusing you can just choose to look at either top or bottom part

    • @KENTOSI
      @KENTOSI 3 місяці тому

      They're two different things though. The bottom is just the normal subtitles. The top is selected phrases with key words to learn.
      I actually really appreciated the format.

      Thank you for sharing your idea! Maybe I will make Japanese subs optional, do you think it's better ?

    • @ashmorris4067
      @ashmorris4067 2 місяці тому

      @@mikurealjapanese I think you should keep the subtitles but just have the one set at the bottom instead of having two lots at the same time. I get that the other person said they are key phrases you are pointing out but personally I find it confusing. You got to learn it all so if I was you just have the subtitles down the bottom in one colour black and maybe if you have to underline whats the important bit and put it in english in green or red at the top or instead of having it on top just do them flash images of the word and its meaning that you use sometimes have on the middle of screen but put it at the top. I think making the writting at the bottom abit bigger and get rid of using too many different colours.

      @@mikurealjapanesei think no need to change. We can play the video one time for the top subtitle. If we need it, play again and look at the bottom subtitle. This is for learning, so replay is normal. We dont need to get it right only in one go.repeat repeat and repeat, focusing on a certain area on each replay.
