I was really put into a nice feeling due to this video. The choice of music, the Moroccan landscape passing by, the majestic sight of Moroccan architecture filmed in great detail. I was really taken away by the architecture of some Morrocan mosques in this video. I also liked the combination of shots from Marrakech and shots from a city along the coastline.
One got a *real sense of adventure* in this video - that is something that radiates positivity and the choice of music added to that!
The blue city that was shown and the blue boats filmed along the shoreline of Morocco were something that fuelled my imagination as I'm an artist myself - nice to have one's imagination bent a bit due to this video!
Something that would have made the video even better?
I would have loved to learn a bit about the *personal* side to things in this video. What you experienced and felt from your own perspectives not just the objective side to things. It's interesting to see great images from all kinds of places in Morocco but how was your journey for yourselves as travellers and film-makers? How did you feel, did something horryifying happen? You could build a greater story, introduce some encounter with a local as an example and reconnect what you see with how you actually felt yourselves.
You had some personal references to things beyond the images we saw in frame, the hint of a greater story, but I would have loved to sense a bit more what you felt as persons doing this, your personal reflections.
Did you change in some way during this trip as an example.
Visually some things can also be improved but that is just from my point of view: Great with true realism to the video-footage. Nice in a way that you don't use filters, that you don't process the video images just use raw data. But sometimes it can be cool to do some post-production to alter some shots to increase the feelings conveyed by yourselves as travellers.
As an example: If you show a cat walking along a table in the Medina in Marrakech then make the raw footage transform into blue sometimes or warp the image to a still to describe the sensation you got as you watched the cat walking along the table. That perhaps reminded you of the blue city you filmed on your journey at some point!
The key is to not over-do it just to add emotion to what you actually filmed to describe the feeling you had at the time of shooting.
But this is just a personal choice - something I use myself when I make videos like this.
Great video!
