It annoys me that we waited for a season 4 and then last minute we was basically told we wasn’t getting it, all I want is a send off…

the entire Crash Team Rumble situation just reminds me a lot of the case with Twinsanity ngl.
The troubled development, higher-ups meddling, all the contents and "what it could've been"
it felt like a repeat for me, hopefully the game got a better end compared to Twinsanity, but i wouldn't get my hopes up
I wanted Pinstripe to return so badly and I feel like it was almost in our grasp.

I had high hopes about this game, and I hate the fact the end of support genuinely gave reasons to deniers, doubters, haters, etc.
The idea about the game being revived sounds like a sweet dream, but I feel that I need to believe it a little.
We said the same thing at the time of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and the game lasted the same time, we're still waiting for it to be on PC by the way.
Activision doesn't give a damn about these licenses which for them are junk
Nitro Fueled lasted a little over a year, while Rumble didn't even achieve an entire year. Although that's close enough to conclude it doesn't necessarily mean an end to the franchise - Nitro Fueled ended and then we still got two more games. :)
@@LupoTosk96 Crash Team Racing-Nitro Fueled lasted 8 months (released at the end of June 2019 and last update at the beginning of March 2020), the developers Beenox said that the game would be supplied with content for a long time, they said a year or more, but this is not the case. It's not them to blame.
Crash Team Rumble there (released at the end of June 2023 and last update at the beginning of March 2024), the developers Toys for Bob said the same that the content of the game would be followed and that there would be seasons for a long time, except that this studio left which I think is better for them and the same they are not to blame either.
We must stop defending Activision who for them these licenses are just junk and that they should release them on all platforms, if Crash Team Racing and Crash Team Rumble are released on PC it would give them a second wind and use the arguments of microtransactions or modding doesn't work, because there are plenty of games like that on PC and they still work, it's just that Activision is only competent to take money.
I do hope Rumble does come back but I have been on a Nitro Fueled kick for the past 2 weeks. I think I want to move past rumble and after Crash 5, if we ever get it, I would love to see a Crash Team Racing 2. hopefully with more long term support. I don't know if this could work but could Toy's For Bob work on another crash live service game? Maybe in the contract it would state "microsoft will handle the servers while Toy's for Bob handles the content" and TFB could have maybe a year or 2 of content updates. Could that work? If it can work like that IF we get another live service game like Crash Team Racing it could potentially last longer than nitro fueled and rumble
If a crash team racing 2 happens, it needs to be handled by Beenox. They're a much bigger team, and they did so well with the remake I wouldn't trust anyone else with it. TFB is just too small of a team, and their design just feels off.
@@hjohnson966 I suppose you are right. I would have liked to see how a racing game would look like with Toys For Bob designs but I will admit while I like their design I would prefer the N.Sane design for a new racing game.
I'm just hoping they will remake crash bash a lot of people like the game and they can improve it by maybe adding more minigames and more characters.
I'd personally prefer a new Crash game over more Rumble as Rumble didn't really work for me as well as I had hoped
I kinda stopped playing it after a couple weeks or so (aka. Season 1) and the game didn't manage to bring me back
so I rather have Crash 5 or a new Crash Team Racing title for PS5, Series X / S and whatever Nintendo's next system ends up being called
or remake TwinSanity or Crash Bash (Twinsanity is probably more likely, and needs it the most, cause it can fix all the issues the original have and add least some of the cut content)
...or maybe more open world like, could be interesting to see how Crash handles that formula

I'm hoping GamePass helps to bring it back (I was hoping this would have been one of the first games added).
I just realized you didn't mention that Iron Galaxy has been brought back to work on Killer Instinct last year (also great pick with Iron Galaxy since Rumbleverse was an awesome game with somethings that could be leveraged for Crash Team Rumble).
@@finessefulj8489I wanna see CTR nitro fueled get the Killer instinct treatment first since that game desoerayely needs quality of life fixes and needs its unused finished content to finally get released.
The following fixes should be.
●Buff the Wumpa coin payouts to double what they currently are so unlocking items is actually possible and weekend x10 online race payouts cause player counts to skyrocket.
●Rebalance the classes so they work as intended and nerf the speed class slightly so its more in line with the other classes. As of right now it is basically pointless competitively to be any class but speed.
●Add crossplay, and Ranked online matchmaking.
●Add Bianca, Elora, Ripto, The sorceress, Willy wumpa, and the evil twins into the game and just for the hell of it add Crash 4 Tawna.
●Release the game for PC.
●Give the game a texture and FPS makeover for next gen.
●Release a PC version on steam and GoG.
and for the revival of gigantic gearboz hired out abstraction who helped revived the halo mcc
i just wish we got another way to unlock heroes than badges such as wins with that role badges method can be really grindy

Im sure Xbox will use Crash again. But Spyro will come first.
I expect stuff like Crash Twinsanity and Crash Wrath coming to Xbox XS thanks to the bacward compatibility
It’s so strange that the game wasn’t put onto Game Pass or made free or something. It probably would’ve made for a more populated game, even if slightly.
Xbox is just starting now to add Activision games on Gamepass. It will come eventually im sure

It can make a com back under one and only one cunditon it needs to go free to play 40-50$ for this game is unecseptable
I honestly didn’t think about Iron Galaxy, when I heard Beenox I was thinking is this the team you have been talking about? But I remembered that you said that it’s not Beenox. I hope these Scenarios can revive Crash Team Rumble, because the game was super fun, and I really enjoy playing with friends I have made because of this game.

Microsoft should make it free-to-play on game pass and charge for battle passes.
Battle passes already ended, but I agree with the game pass part.
Even if Crash Team Rumble doesn't come back (which I hope it does), I still want someone working on the servers to at LEAST fix the matchmaking bugs and add the ability to skip battlepass tiers you got prior to "Season 4"

It’s dead. I tried to play a week or so ago and there were 3 people on a team who were just hammering us and we couldn’t get another game. So this play with friends group were just noob stomping everyone and couldn’t be avoided

4:25 seeing kao the kangaroo there with the others is like ugh. It was such a buggy mess of a game, it broke a pair of my headphones with an audio glitch that's apparently been known about since the PC launch and just never fixed, and I mean it actually broke my headphones, blew out the speakers. On top of that the game was constantly having framerate issues and weird visual bugs. Ended up refunding it.
Thanks to your content and advice, I got CTR as a birthday gift, and I've been having a blast so far. Not a perfect game, but lots of fun and matchmaking is really fast.
This game was underdeveloped and at its best, it could have been like a Super Smash Bros, but for Crash characters with the potential to build in characters from PlayStation titles. The small chance of it being redeveloped requires a single player story mode. That’s how Crash Bandicoot has been successful, not by depending on an online multiplayer mode. It also needs the actual full line up of Crash characters to be unlockable.
If a video game developer wants to do that, then hey, go for it. But TFB needed to develop this game more upfront if they wanted it to be successful.
I think Rumble is a good game. But as a Crash fan I think it had some flaws from the very beginning:
1 - Lack of content at launch, if there had been more modes at launch (a story mode for instance with different endings for each characters) it would have caused a different impression for many players who didn't return for later seasons
2 Too much of the content was recycled (soundtrack, arenas from Crash 4, skins).
3 Issues with the matchmaking and some game mechanics didn't help.
To me the game felt unfinished at launch. They added content later on like the party mode but it still couldn't compare to the amount of content that Nitro Fueled had and many players had already stopped playing the game by then.
I'll keep playing it until I get to rank 500 though. I love Crash

I dont expect Crash TR coming on PsPlus, at least not at the same time as Gamepass. If it comes, it comes waaay later
A good thing about Spyro 4 going on Gamepass day one is that Xbox dosent really look at sales. Yes, they do care about them, but the main thing for them is how successfull is the game on Gamepass. How many players it brings and how many players makes stay on the service. And im sure a Spyro 4 would be a HIT on gamepass, so we might even get a Spyro 5
Then why did that variable resulted in Tango Gameworks' demise? Hi-Fi Rush saw lots of players, but incredibly awful sales.

But the reason Tango closed is because they had to close some teams, and Tango wasnt activily working on anything (outside of a pitch for a HiFi sequel) so they where chosen because they werent cancelling any active project by closing them.
I have little hope the game will come back. There was little to no acknowledgement of the game from bigger youtubers who cover platformers like Antdude/Caddicarus/Gamescage, and the gaming media barely showed off previews. The fanbase is also incredibly split on it as well, with a massive chunk totally indifferent to the game or outright hating it.
At this point I’m just waiting for the next crash game which probably won’t happen for a while

this is pathetic 10 months on from released is basically no support we got 3 seasons and now a 9000 day pass when i bought this game i expected Nitro Fueled level updates all so i think beenox would be good to take over
I still feel like they shouldn't give up on the game. Like yeah, people were probably not on board with this game, but I'm sure others would've given it a chance to play it and would probably like it
Even today, I would still be very happy if I had the opportunity to finally play this game.
Man oh man, I really do hope that Rumble can defy the odds and return. I'm on board for anything that can help make it real.

CGE makes his case clear on the possibility of CT Rumble coming back and I wouldn't mind seeing it return to finish what was started at TFB either be Beenox or as CGE stated in the video Iron Galaxy. As long as either of them are cool with working on such a task when demand kicks in due to hitting Xbox Game Pass and the like, then yes.

Crash team rumble is a unfinished failed project. You're not going to encourage gamers to regularly play a unfinished game with only one game mode.
The best case scenario would be to make Crash team rumble free to play or to include it in Crash 4 where I personally think it would have done better. The content just isn't there for a standalone game but combined with Crash 4 then it might stand a chance.

I feel that Iron Galaxy porting a PC version of Crash Team Rumble would piss a lot of the Rumbleverse community off bad since they lost the game's live service after 6 months post-launch. Rumbleverse should come back first before a crash team rumble port imo.

I'd like to see the game hit Steam for PC at some point.
It's dead and buried, sorry. In fact it has been ever since the decision to release it as a paid-for stand-alone game rather than as an online multi-player mode in Crash 4 as originally intended. It could have been saved if they had the sense to release the game as free-to-play with micro-transactions like other popular games of the genre.
They should have done this with CTR NF

Sadly, as much as I would like for this to be true, I don’t think it will be possible - Game wasn’t doing great to begin with and I’d be interested in learning more about the precedent CGE was referring to, as in what ultimately happened to the game as soon as the new developer took over, why did the original developer step out, etc.
Warner Bros. Multiversus is returning after ITS hiatus, so if it can do well (this time around), so could Rumble.
Not by choice you need to clarify that the reason why they didn’t do season 2 and was they were bought out. Side note I don’t get why it’s called Crash Team Racing if there aren’t any teams.

I 100% think it would've been a great free to play multi-player game built into C4. But trying to turn this into its own online only game that people had to buy into was a TERRIBLE choice.

It’s extremely disappointing what happened to Crash Team Rumble. It was good and all for Crash after the NST. We got CTR NF, Crash on the run and Crash 4. And now this, very disappointing😞
