@@jwalster9412 have you played an airflight sim by chance? you need to pay 60 dollar/euro for a mod with dev quality... this is literally nothing... its even less with a 50% discount. not to mention 4 dollar/euro is the same as 400 robux
I never wanted to pay for a mod but when I saw this mod, I knew I had to buy it. It's really amazing quality mod and I don't regret spending my money on it.

In Europe it is actually pretty hard to find a van with an automatic transmission, most are manuals and diesels 👍
And these smaller ones are quite popular as they are under a car for tolls and are great as wheelchair accessible vehicles.
The only thing I could ask for on this mod is more customizability. For example more options for bigger engines - maybe a turbo v6? But other then that this is an amazing mod!
A Renault Espace F1 style config would be cool.

Seems like the sport model could've gone faster at the end, but it has a speed limiter. (at 130/140mph? not sure)
He also has ESC and TC on Comfort and the Gear on D (Drive), it should be S (Sport).

@neilogical there were sliding doors, available years ago on the ibishu kashira. Both gen one and gen two. Which are very good quality considering their age.

This is a great mod. A great little euro-like van. I think from what I can see the outside is VAG based and the interior is a PSA-like feel. I'd love a proper large panel van. Fusion of a transit, sprinter, relay/boxer

Since its made by LucasBE, it will also get updates, for eg. if future Beamng update breaks something. Or at least, it has worked like that with his Cherrier Picnic mod. Definitely gotta buy this one too! Thanks for showing it up.
The body seems to be super stiff in crashes but other than that, a pretty solid looking mod
If the Gavril Vertex was meant to resemble a Ford Focus/Fusion, then it seems the Scout's inspiration is the Transit Van SSV - albeit modernized.
Is that what the call the Transit Connect these days (the wee Fiesta based one, or at least back in the day it was I think)? I get strong Berlingo vibes, too.

Paid vehicle mods are an amazing idea as I think that BeamNG needs more modern maps.

I have always been sceptical about Beamng paid mods, but this one blew my mind, it is my first paid mod that I bought, but I had been waiting for it's release for a long time. A sort of European van in Beamng was something that I was missing, but this is just the perfect way to introduce it in the game.
(And I had a 50% discount code, so I actually paid 1.97€)
almost all paid mods are leaked and you can download them for free
@@Musyaaaa yeah, I know, but it's not fair for me, people like LucasBE have put a lot of time and work (and also money sometimes) to create these mods, and then someone leaks it and all of it is gone......I prefer giving them the reward they deserve (and also it was just 4€, of which I just actually paid 1.97, so it was pretty cheap imo)

about the sliding doors: the Ibishu Kashira had them (honda minivan/mpv whatever) and the Gavril... mpv has them too (recently released, adds more cars, but one of them has them)

There is atleast few mods with sliding doors edit:one of them being is the Ibishub Kashira if im correct? (Either Ibishu or Gavril is the company that its from? It is also a minivan which got a update to it since it was jever been updated for long time)

The Ibishu Kashira was the first minivan mod or just mod in general that featured sliding doors.

Its free on beamng site and has also very nice unique features.
Everydoor opens, animated turnsignals, air suspension (+bounce mode) and has nice dashboard with error messages and sound. And it has start stopp !!!

What about paid mods? It's awesome to see user created content that's close to dev quality, but the problem with paying for it is the lack of support. No warranty this will be updated for who knows how many BeamNG updates will come in the future. If it were for a final version of the game, hands down it's worth the money. Not at this stage.

Honestly, 4 bucks is worth it. If more modders made dev quality mods and a huge variety, I'd pay for car packs.
The problem for me is that there's no guarantee that they keep them up to date with the game updates ... if those were actually guaranteed to work by the devs as the game goes along then i wouldn't mind so much

I got it with the code "BeamBot" for have-price, and it is quite a good mod for 2.50 €s.
I quite like the sporty version, and even the lower-end versions drive quite well, although they have a pretty bad gearbox in my opinion that takes away way to much power.
Do you have a wheel and pedals, Neil?? If not, you DEFINITELY need a simrig to enjoy these driving games you play - ESPECIALLY BeamNG!! Words can not express how badly I want one myself!! I'd LOVE to play BeamNG all day with a wheel/pedals... apparently it's mind-blowingly realistic! Best auto sim on the market, not to mention one of the best offroad games ever!
Honestly, paid mods i find appreciated. It's like buying some really damn good DLC Vehicles.
I find it self-explanatory that the creators of these mods actually get the money they'd deserve.
Granted, would i buy this? Personally not, but then again, i would want a Citroen Berlingo, rather than a VW Caddy.

i think paid mods are equivilant to DLC. the devs of the mod are getting paid; therefore, better quality.
I bought this mod when it came out but I don’t know how to install it and I looked all over on the internet to see if I could find some help but I can’t I would love if you could make a vid from the page you bought it from and downloading it into your files and from there on how to install it because I wish I knew what do do before I bought it
