The background for the lyrics is a true story from one of the band member’s life about addiction from the perspective of the addict in the first track and their family in the last track with an interlude in the middle

I love IA and this song, but its not really representative for the rest of their discography. But you will do nothing wrong going back to the other two songs of the upcoming album, Elysium (my SOTY 22) and Shade Astray, the the EP (Sun Sleeps), then Greyview and the other two albums, which have a different vocalist.
