Hua Hua currently has 37 million followers on his Weibo (sort of like the Chinese version of Facebook). His concerts are always sold out within seconds. You just found a gem, and I have full confidence that you will learn more about his music if you keep reacting to him. I found that my level of music appreciation has improved tremendously since knowing him. He is a great composer. I have not found any single song that I don't like from him. Every song is different and unique. The most Amazing singer song writer!

He also plays a lot of instruments like piano, keyboard, guitar, flute, drums... Hua Chenyu came second in the "Singer" competition in 2018, the year after Dimash came second. He won in 2020. He is extremely versatile as composer and arranger across genres as well as a vocalist, and deserves to be better known beyond China. Several songs are required to even begin to appreciate his scope. Eventually, after three or four suggestions from others, please brace yourselves and react to "Fake monk" from "Singer" 2018 where he is alone at the piano. Hopefully you'll continue with him, please. Lyrics are important in his songs, even though translation of the Chinese is so difficult - English subs are often available.
