Blacktail Deer Hunt Turned Black Bear Hunt | Blacktail/Black Bear Hunting Season 2023

We ventured to new areas this year, and as luck would have it, we picked up some decent blacktail bucks. Looking for particular bucks, we passed on some bucks that could have been taken. As the season dragged on, we happen to spot a nice size bear feeding on some berries.

You guys are on them, nicely done. I would second guess the decision to shoot at the buck that was skylined. Your shot went over him and down the next ridge, very dangerous if someone was to happen to be on the other side.
