When I think of fly-in communities, excessive noise is the first thing that comes to mind. How bad is it, honestly? Like, it can't be pleasant to have a jet land or take off early in the morning or in the middle of the night...

We rented a house adjacent to the airpark and flew into the airport, it was amazing! We looked at one airpark property and its truly spectacular.

There are, mostly just subdivisions (neighborhoods) that place the back of the house to a very flat field to for takeoff

I live by Heathrow airport where jumbo jets land on top of your head but you get used to it
