Ruslan said he get the new Eve, but he probably doesn't understand the implications- Adam and The First woman were created sinless, and only after they sinned did this first woman take on the name Eve. If you take Mary as the new Eve, you also have to contemplate her immaculate conception. Jesus was sinless, and It would be heresy for God to incarnate within a sinful person. Just like the ark of the covenant made of incorruptible Arcadia wood, and overlaid with Gold, which is also associated with incorruptibility. Old Ark contained stone tablets, rod of Aaron, manna- new Ark contains Word incarnate, High Priest, and Bread of life.
And who am I that the mother of my Lord should come and visit me?” is a line from the Bible, Luke 1:43. The line is spoken by St. Elizabeth after Mary visits her home while pregnant with Jesus. The line expresses Elizabeth's feelings of humility and surprise at being part of these events.
The miracle of Fatima is one thing that led me to Christianity. It’s the best documented miracle in history (100,000 witnesses with modern reporters in a communist atheist country) teaching Christ.
Similar for me, I was asking God to show me evidence/give me a reason to believe in Jesus. One day mt Mom was listening to a non religious podcast and they mentioned Fatima, and I looked into it and I converted that day in my heart.
@ that’s awesome! Now you should embrace all of Christianity. As Martin Luther, every church father did and venerate Our Lady as well. The only human in history to share the blood of God.
Elizabeth was full of the Holy Spirit and shout out with the loud voice blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb. how is it that the mother of my Lord should come to me
Luke 11:27-28 “a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!” But Jesus said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
@@jerricoej Mary was more blessed in accepting the faith of Christ than in conceiving the flesh of Christ. To someone who said, “Blessed is the womb that bore you,” he replied, “Rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep it.”Finally, for his brothers, his relatives according to the flesh who did not believe in him, of what advantage was that relationship? Even her maternal relationship would have done Mary no good unless she had borne Christ more happily in her heart than in her flesh. - St. Augustine
Just ignore the angels greeting to Mary, Elizabeth's greeting when Mary visits an̈d revelations. He is trying to stress how important it is to keep the word of God by being extreme. Interestingly those that keep the word of God are also known as saints. The church honors them to.
She didn't ascend she was assumed. ASCEND means she did it by her own power. ASSUMED means God took her up like Elijah. Hope that helps. LOVE your stuff Ruslan even though i don't agree with somethings. GOD bless you.
Yeah but the problem was is that really Mary or the devil in disguise because I did research it on Mary apparition and I came to this conclusion in fact is not Mary. The problem most the account Mary was “teaching” contradicting the Bible and the word of God remember the devil can perform miracle too.
I agree. He’s leaving that out. Cuz he’s trying to answer biblically. I think when Protestants do research it they probably look at the apparitions as conspiracies. Like the church made everything up. They’ll ignore the miracles and just say everyone was coerced or something. They could never understand why we say a rosary is so powerful because they would never pray one and find out.
@@TimmyBuddoo my mistake. I should’ve said if instead of when. So if an angel came down and spoke to you directly tonight. It’s should not be documented or it would be considered downright blasphemy because it’s not in the Bible. Anyway not here to argue. Merry Christmas.
To me it makes more sense that Jesus took flesh from a sinless flesh, Mary. Bible is clear: the woman is enemy of the serpent. Eve can't be this woman..she already sinned, so she became a friend of the serpent. When the Bible talks about this woman it is speaking about a person, not as a symbol of the church..as protestants invented and believe
I appreciate how he broke all this down. The only thing I’m wondering about all of this, is, God says him self we are all sinners in need of a savior. I think if Gods intention was to keep Mary sinless, I feel like we would see that in scripture and Romans 3:23 maybe would’ve mentioned something in regards to Mary being sinless (not directly maybe but somehow giving us definite knowledge that she was sinless). After hearing his explanation, my logical brain thought “yes I can see that, but without having to read in to it or fill in the gaps we wouldn’t come to that conclusion based solely off scripture it self because scripture it self tells us we are all sinners” Jesus being sinless is because he was divine, because he is God in the flesh sin is not of his nature. It almost sounds like you have to argue Mary has some sort of divinity in order to count her sinlessness plausible. Not saying she’s divine but my logical, incompetent brain goes to that. Also this isn’t to hate on anything said or anything like that, just trying to get my brain to work through it that’s all.
@@ReformedSteven Mary was also saved but differently than us for the purpose of Christ. She was prevented from falling into sin. That is how she's saved.
The only reason protestants are so hung up on this subject is due to hatred of Catholics. They'd claim the sky was green if a Catholic dared call it blue.
I believe that whilst she carried Jesus she was kept from sin. To me that is logical because God in his nature hates sin so it would seem a contradiction to carry God and sin. Does that mean I think she didn't sin outside of that. It's possible that God could have kept her from sinning but there is nothing to go on. I do however feel regardless that Mary if she did sin she sinned significantly less than most people which is part of the reason God chose her. It just wouldn't make sense to say that she is the most blessed among women. Enough to carry Jesus and be a prolific sinner
Luke 1:26-28 "And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace" Is there room for sin in a person full of grace? Does he need more grace not to sin?
Mary as a second Eve, wow that’s beautiful. Catholic orthodox or Protestant can’t deny that connection is absolutely amazing. Merry Christmas everyone our Lord is born.
You have a problem with not just Catholics but the rest of Christianity! Only Protestants don't see the link. Can Protestantism truly be correct, when it goes against the rest of Christendom and is only 500 years old?? I doubt it...
Yeah, in latin and spanish this makes more sense. Eve is "Eva", and we call Mary "Ave María"; Ave is Eva backwards because Mary is the one who brought us our saviour, in opoosition of Eve who brought us sin.
Out of curiosity, what would catholics usually say to Romans 3:10-12, “as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” To me it seems scripture teaches that only God is without sin.. Jesus said “No one is good but God alone..” Also making a claim to deity because Jesus was indeed good, making him God.. Hard for me to reconcile this ..
46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” 48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
Luke 1:47: Mary herself declares, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” This indicates that she, too, needed a Savior, which would not be necessary if she were sinless. While Mary was uniquely “highly favored” (kecharitōmenē in Luke 1:28), this word reflects God’s grace upon her, not her inherent sinlessness.
@@FEEKAP "you cannot be a sinner and still need God" what? i'm a sinner and need God? also, the holy spirit lives in me and every other Christian. you could say we are full of grace in the sense we are full of the holy spirit. my mom let me have 4 cookies instead of 3 cus i was extra hungry, so she could be "full of grace" too. it doesn't mean spotless, or sinless. the bible explicitly states "Jesus was blameless and without sin." it doesn't ever say that about mary other than she was "highly favored," which she WAS, because God gave her the SPECIAL responsibility and good news that she would give birth to the messiah. she still needed a savior, she still needed God. she wasn't sinless. for all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God. not the glory of God and mary.
Protestants and Catholics are straining out gnats while the rest of the world swallows the proverbial camel. Jesus is our Lord and Savior. On that we can agree. Merry Christmas to all who who acknowledge Him!
No the Bible is the word of God. This whole Mary dogma is man made tradition. Like Jesus said "so, for the sake of tradition, you have made void the word of God"
@@MiraclesFSC You have no idea that what you are asserting is a man-made Protestant tradition - claiming that Tradition and Scripture somehow contradict each other. Thank God people with a modicum of intelligence are actually studying Christian history today.
Ignatius of Antioch “Make certain, therefore, that you all observe one common Eucharist; for there is but one Body of our Lord Jesus Christ, and but one cup of union with his Blood, and one single altar of sacrifice-even as there is also but one bishop, with his clergy and my own fellow servitors, the deacons. This will ensure that all your doings are in full accord with the will of God” (Letter to the Philadelphians 4 [A.D. 110]).
She was used as the womb but that’s it. Jesus always called her woman. He did not want us to be doing what the Catholics are doing now. Treating her as the same level as Jesus and worshipping Her, creating statues of her. Jesus died for us not Mary. We even see Catholics praying and asking things in prayer to Joseph 🤣 Catholics claim to compile the Bible but their teachings contradict the Bible.
@@stevieb931 You know what intercession even means? and what worship means? Worship requires a Deity... you get that or? Catholics don't consider Mary a Deity, so we cant per definition worship her... If i ask you to pray for me then you do intercede for me in a way. That's literally what happens when you ask Mary to pray/intercede for you...
There was no need to define this dogma about the Theotokos the virgin Mary, because EVERY APOSTOLIC CHURCH BELIEVED IT! Why would you need to define it otherwise?
That's how many dogmas came to be defined, friend. They define them to make it absolutely clear what the truth is, in response to nasty heresies and ideologies.
Anybody remember that time when the scriptures didn’t say that Mary was assumed into heaven? I’d say there’s a lot of “assuming” going on with this ‘belief’.
There are many things that the church received that are not mentioned in the bible (explicitly). John 21:25 (NRSVCE): But there are also many other things that Jesus did; if every one of them were written down, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. The understanding of the Trinity is not mentioned blatantly like, For the Lord is Triune, One God in three persons. There's also nowhere that Jesus says, I am God worship me. Nowhere in these exact words, does it say, Jesus is fully God and Fully man. This is what is dangerous about interpreting scripture on your own and not trusting that Jesus left a Church to guide those who want to know him and submit to him. 2 Peter 1:20-21 (NRSVCE): First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. 1 Timothy 3:15 (NRSVCE): If I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.
This Queen of Heaven stuff makes me really uncomfortable. You`d think if this character was so important, it would be mentioned more in the Bible. Mary is barely even mentioned by the earliest church fathers. Irenaeus mentions her, but more in relation to the Son she gave birth to, which is more God`s work than Mary's. Edit - Watched the video again, the arguments are very weak. Even if Mary was sinless, she could not have done this through her own strength, but had to be enabled to do so by God. The documents he mentions are hundreds of years after the apostles, and while he claims that it took the church hundreds of years to get their doctrine straight, I encourage you to read early church fathers like Irenaeus. Catholics (and orthodox) seem OBSESSED with worshipping Mary. We have a Bible, we have Jesus Christ who died for our sins and is now at the right hand of the Father. Why do you always need more ? Why isn`t Christ enough? Why do you need to worship saints, Mary, images and idols? Read your Bible, and pray to God, its simple. If there is something God chose to not reveal, we will find about it in Heaven. But if its not in the Bible, and it cannot be clearly deduced from its verses (like the concept of Trinity), stay away from it, because its probably just the traditions of men.
“As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”” Luke 11:27-28 ESV But why did Jesus make this statement. I would like to hear a good faith refutation by any catholic brothers. I’m a Protestant 😊
Ask yourself does the above statement exlude Mary? The answer is no. Mary is not blessed becuase she gave birth to Jesus. She first listened to the word of God, to near perfection compared to any other creature, her reward for it was that she was honoured by the 2nd person of the trinity to be his mother. To be the only person in all eternity to say to that same person, flesh from my flesh and bone from my bone. That is why she is blessed.
Is this hyperbole? In other parts, Mary is said to be blessed among all women. The Bible doesn’t contradict itself. What is Jesus trying to say here? Is it to discredit the blessedness of his mother or is it trying to make a point through exaggeration? The Bible says to Honor your father and mother. Jesus kept the law perfectly. When Jesus says, “Unless you hate father and mother.. you are not worthy of me”. To paraphrase. It’s hyperbole, meaning that we should love him above everyone and everything.
@@user-ks3qr5fk6m amen! And if it isn't already clear what the hyperbole in the statement of hating your mother and father is, he means compared to your love for God, the love you have for your parents must almost look like you hate them
Holy Mary, Mother of God! Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. On this night, the Immaculata, the new Eve, the new Ark of the Covenant gave birth to our Lord and God!
“Why did it take 1000 years for it to be recognized?” Well, because this was always believed/know, when people started doubting it, is when there was a need to make it a dogma.
Just going to mention this: there is a quote mentioned by the guest but it is a mistranslation from what I gather. The word mentioned in Greek “kecharitomeni”, which the root is “charitoo”, is not full of grace. It is a special grace, a highly favored graced but it is also mentioned in Ephesians 1:6 to describe how God has made us “charitoo” in the beloved (Jesus Christ). Please look this up for yourselves. The words “full of grace” come from the Latin vulgate translation “gratia plena.” So, for the sake of discussion, it seems this same grace is given to us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Happy to hear other thoughts.
Luke 1:46 And Mary said: “My soul [a]magnifies the Lord, 47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. 48 For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. 49 For He who is mighty has done great things for me, She was a Godly woman who had the faith of Abraham and trusted God for salvation because she was a sinner as we all are or she would not have needed a Savior.
@@user-ks3qr5fk6m Grace is unmerited favor. She didn't "merit" being Christ's birthmother, as Godly as she was. Her soul was glorifying God for His work in her, not Her righteousness that you claim for her. The Bible doesn't teach to pray to her to try to influence or command Jesus. Jesus says that he who comes to Him He will in no wise cast out and that HE is the only mediator between God and man. He died and rose again to establish that, do not give His honor to another. That is unbiblical.
@@catharsis77 the Catholic church would agree with you. Mary did not merit the grace, her soul was glorified by God. To pray is to ask, how come this is so confusing for modern protestants. You ask others to pray on your behalf, it functions the same way for those whom have passed into the next life. James 5:16 16-18 NKJV Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, [k]fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. We are called to pray for each other. The prayer of an righteous man (i.e a saint) is more effective, thus we turn to the saints to pray for us.
ALL have SINNED and FALL SHORT of the GLORY OF GOD, stop holding mary in such a high position she was a sinner like ALL of us. Christ is our great High Priest AND Savior. No need to pray to her.
I don't think so. I mean she's explicitly bodily in Heave in Revelation. However, there are plenty of implicit truths in Scripture that help us realize this Truth. Such as Mary being at enmity with the snake and being full of grace.
So why not just label all of Christianity "a lot of mental gymnastics"? It's called the deposit of faith that has been handed down to us. Faith is the key word.
So if Jesus never sinned and Jesus is God, and Mary had Jesus and never sinned also, and Mary was born before Jesus then what does that make Mary ??? I think it’s pretty obvious what that means !
@@JoshYng Ah, I must have imagined Father Garcia telling me to pray three Hail Mary’s, and four Our Fathers back when. Anyway: You start with “Our Father” because Christ explicitly stated that’s how you ought to pray (Matt 5 : 5-14). You are absolutely correct that he did not explicitly, or _even_ implicitly teach Marian intercessional prayer. I wonder if that’s why Stephen didn’t ask Mary to pray for him at the “hour of _his_ death?” It isn’t recorded that any of apostles did. Not strange at all that I’m sure.
If we follow your logic, then praying to Jesus should be forbidden. Please give me the verse where Jesus specifically says to direct our prayers to him. But hey that's what happens when you cut off all tradition and think everything is "My Personal Interpretation of the Bible".
My biggest question is on Mary being sinless. If Mary was sinless from birth through the grace of God, born to a mother and father who sin previously, why couldn't God just have enough grace for all of mankind in order to keep them from sinning in the first place? Unless Mary didn't have free will. And if that is the case, why can't I opt out of having free will and be a perfect representative for Christ, my Lord? I know there is probably a very theological answer of God's sovereignty and will and the plan for humanity for the glory of Jesus. I truly don't seek to pit my will against God's but I just feel extremely bad when hearing this and other things like the predestination stuff in the book of Romans. I am born 2000 years too late to experience Christ's time on Earth or the apostolic age or anything. Now I am just some guy in modern times, riddled with sin, and kinda feeling not good for anything compared to the important people for the past. How should I be looking at this because I know only centering the perspective on myself/my feelings leads to all sorts of sinful tendencies, mainly pride?
That's a really good question actually. This is why only Christ is sinless, the way and the light. No one else, not even Mary. In a fallen world, Mary would be used to make Christ appear more optional. You shouldn't pray to anyone but Jesus. This is not an answer, this is my belief.
Christ didn't make a mistake with you. You are here for such a time as this. Christ has a calling for you. The fact that you are asking questions is humble and shows you're on the right track, brother. You have the same grace that the rest of us have and you don't have to worry about comparing yourself to others and their callings. All that will do is distract you from what the Lord has planned for you. Blessings, brother and Merry Christmas!
Rom 11:32: "For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that he may be merciful to all." The thing is that everyone else is by nature a son or daughter of Adam and Eve. God let mankind fall into sin, so that he could bring salvation to us all through His mercy and not as something we earned because we behaved well. In a sense it brings more glory to God that way, because God stands out as a merciful giver rather than a debt collector of what was due to Him. The reason why God preserved Mary from falling into sin is that she could be the new Eve. The fall happened because of two individuals, male and female, disobeying. And our salvation happened in the same regard. The devil could get dominion over Eve, but he could not have dominion over Mary. That's why there is enmity between the snake and the woman. Would the women sin, then it would be a game over for the woman. No sinner has anything he could use against the devil. It's an automatic defeat. God created not just men, but women also. If Christ, the man-god is our only example, then women are lacking a more specific role model for he was a man. That's why God had to provide a role model for women also, which is Mary. Christ is God descended from heaven, Mary is human ascended to heaven, participation in the divinity of her son out of Christ love for her and the whole church. Mary is also a symbol for the whole church, hence the imagery in Revelation kind of overlaps with the church. Mary had God in her through the incarnation. We have God in us because of the Holy Spirit and by eating the Eucharist, the flesh and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. God and mankind are united in Christ. Mary and the saints are glorified beings. They share in the glory that only belongs to God and which he couldn't just share in the Old Testament until Christ took mankind upon Himself, by redeeming us from sin and death.
As a Protestant, I respect Alex in his thorough knowledge of how the RCC came to their conclusions, even if I don’t agree with them. Wesley Huff is a very knowledgeable Baptist historian and would give a great interview and different perspective. God Bless ✝️
@@FEEKAPDepends. Do you believe all “facts” presented to you? Regardless, it’s argued that these are assumptions about Mary from early prayers that they link to certain scripture. These isn’t 100% undeniable evidence. Lol
Old Testament versus the New Testament. Grace versus Works. Jesus versus Mary. Why are Protestants so unable to see how early Christianity is not ‘either/or’ but ‘both/and’?
This is how we got Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses. Reading the word in small bits, mistranslating it and then making conclusions not taking into account the truth of the entirety of the word.
Quite the opposite. The reason why Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses deny basic revealed truths such as the Trinity, the Divinity of Jesus, and all else is because they do not scrutinize the scriptures and make conclusions based on superficial information. We need to read the word in small bits in order to avoid coming to our own judgments based on the general scope of things, because the larger picture does not say everything.
Well for technically Mormon is not part of Christianity because they don’t believe First doctrinal beliefs that Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox we all agree upon. Also Joseph Smith met an Angel, well the devil in disguise to preach a different gospel and a different Bible. For JW they made their own version of their Bible because they believe they find the true Christianity because they thought the Bible we use is corrupted from Emperor Constantine.
I am surprised Catholic don't understand church traditions. Mary assumption is a fabrication. Also you criticise sola scriptura and don't understand that protestant hold different view with regards to sola scriptura. Athanasius or Justin Martyr used logic and scripture to argue their points. Yet you mocked their method. 🤦
Worship requires sacrifice, which is why Jesus told the Samaritan woman that soon worship would be everywhere (worship/sacrifice was at the Temple in Jerusalem). Since everyone anywhere could pray to God, we know that Jesus doesn’t equate pray to worship
Does this guy know that when the Bible references a woman it actually refers to the church sometimes? So the verses he is quoting actually refer to the church, hence why Christ refers to his church as the Bride, and we know a Bride is a woman.
How do we deal with Luke 2:48 and Mark 3:21; 31 where, in the text, Mary sins on two occasions? She forgets Jesus’ divine identity and secondly she tries to arrest him because she’s worried he’s gone out of his mind!
Merry Christmas! I just wanted to point out that Revelation 12 has absolutely nothing to do with Mary. The woman is Israel, which is why the crown on her head has twelve stars (twelve tribes of Israel). Not only can we tell these verses are about Israel by the context, but we can refer back to Genesis 37:9-10 where Joseph has a dream: Genesis 37:9-10 [9] Then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, “Behold, I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” [10] But when he told it to his father and to his brothers, his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the ground before you?”
I appreciate the attempt at push back from Ruslan about Mary being Dogma and the attempt of him at trying to prove Mary assumption from scripture. I think he wanted more scripture and proof on these matters, but he kept the interview moving.
This claim that Mary is sinless is really absurd... Romans 3:23, Romans 3:10 .. She is blessed, but to the point that she is sinless means she don't need Jesus to die for her sins... She even have sons and daughters means she has this sinful nature.. Give me a break from this heretic teaching that can't be found in any texts...
If humans die as a result of original sin, and Mary was protected from the consequences of that and Satan so that she wouldn’t sin, wouldn’t that necessarily mean that Satan causes humans to sin? And if God protected Mary from Satan so that she’s be sinless so that she may bear the Savior, wouldn’t it then follow that God allows Satan to cause humans to sin?
@@3buzzy I have known Catholics to pray to Mary for forgiveness of sins and penance. I have also heard Catholics sing a song to Mary (Ave Maria). This is idol worship. Mary would be embarrassed because some Catholics worship her instead of the SAVIOR (JESUS). The TRINITY is the FATHER, SON (JESUS) and the HOLY SPIRIT. One GOD in three persons. Mary was a godly Jewish woman who GOD used in a special way She needed the SAVIOR just like the rest of us. Mary also died. I have Catholic relatives. My immediate family was Catholic until I was five. I have been to many masses. It is not Protestant slander. I take the Bible seriously and, I will call out hersey when it happens. In the video it was stated that the first record of the Assumption of Mary was in the fourth century. I go back to what JESUS and his apostles (Paul included) actually taught. I take the Bible seriously.
I can list dozens of first hand experiences where my Catholics friends pray to Mary. I have yet to hear a single one of them pray to Christ. You can try to excuse it, but it is straight idolatry.
@@barbershopboy05we do not pray to the blessed Mother! We ask her to pray for us. Non Catholics need to get this straight! The new covenant is Jesus and Mary. Before I converted, Mary was an afterthought. We pulled her out at Christmas and then put her back. Thats what you are doing. The blessed Mother has a lot bigger role than what you are giving her. And you do that at your own risk. Catholics only pray to Jesus! But we do revere the blessed Mother and the saints.
The controversy around Mary is the sheer unnecessary concept of it. 1)Her children are not her children, 2)she was married but never consummated with her husband, 3)she was sinless even though the Bible says all have sinned, etc. etc. After Books, videos, podcasts, and more… I’ve never heard anyone explain Maryology very well…
Fun fact: As followers of Christ, we now have a relationship with God that even Mary didn’t experience in the same way. While Mary was chosen by God to usher in His kingdom through the birth of Jesus-an act of incredible faith and obedience-she was still a human being like any of us. To elevate her above other humans is not biblical and risks veering into idol worship. Through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, every believer now has the privilege of God dwelling within them through the Holy Spirit. Our relationship with God goes beyond earthly roles like parenting-it is intimate and eternal. Even Jesus emphasized this when he said, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it” (Luke 8:21). This truth underscores that our spiritual family in Christ takes precedence over any earthly relationship.
@ I’m not elevating my relationship with God-Jesus himself made this distinction. When told, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you,” He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice” (Luke 8:20-21). The point isn’t to diminish Mary’s role, which was extraordinary and faithful, but to highlight the incredible privilege we now have as believers. Through Christ’s sacrifice, we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit-a relationship far deeper than any earthly connection. If that’s something you have too, then you already know the significance. If not, I’d encourage you to seek it out, because that’s what truly matters.
The next Catholic guests you should get on your show Dr. Scott Hahn, Dr. John Bergsma, and Dr. Brant Pitre. These 3 are juggernauts when it comes to the Catholic faith, excellent biblical scholars, two of which were former Protestant pastors as well.

Byzantine Catholics celebrate the Dormition of the Theotokos (Mary), which commemorates her peaceful “falling asleep” and assumption into heaven. This feast is observed on August 15, the same date as the Roman Catholic celebration of the Assumption of Mary, but with theological and liturgical nuances specific to Eastern tradition.
Romans 3.10 and verse 23 Debunks and Destroys the Roman Catholic position of "sinless" mary. What part of ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT DON'T CATHOLICS UNDERSTAND???!!! it's called theology, with what you call implied beliefs, Holy trinity was defined and many other Christian beliefs which protestants believe including the books to be put in the Bible. Were all defined by Catholic Bishops
Protestantism is based on all man-made beliefs 😂😂😂 & not to mention being self entitled that you could interpret scripture on your own and whatever you feel as though it is, it is😂
My question for Alex is what Bible verse justifies praying the rosary with the hail Mary prayers compared to the Our Father ( Our Father prayer is in the Gospels Bible verses.)?
@edweezy92 How can a person be both God and man at the same time? There are a lot of things God does that I have no clue how He does. If you can prove it in Scripture that Mary was sinless then I'll repent and believe it.
Everybody claims Mary is Sinless, but nothing in the Bible tells us she was. What I do know is the Bible mentions that WE ALL fall short of the Glory of God. YAHWEH in all is sovereignty, can use whom he pleases for whatever he pleases, regardless of heart of the person, simply because He is the Creator. Catholicism digs dip to make Mary into something she is not. She was used for God purpose and Gods purpose alone. She did nothing, by her own will or volition, but Catholics act as if she did. Catholicism is a false religion that focuses on works, call priests father, and worships false idols. It’s a hard pill to swallow but it’s true.
You should really read some early Christian writings. Everything you're claiming is simply based on man-made 'Sola Scriptura' Protestant traditions - a complete distortion of the Christian faith.
@@pianoatthirty lol because the Romans had it all figured out right? Yea no. The only thing that matters is the Bible, not what some dude wrote as a side note or what they thought was correct. Jesus laid down the foundation of Salvation: it’s Him and ONLY Him; not your false idol Mary. She was human like every single one of us, and to think she was without Sin is to compare her to the Messiah. That’s ignorant. I’ll pass on your early Christian writings. Why read what other men’s opinions on their false teachings and their false emphasis on tradition and opinion pieces being on the same level as the Bible.
@@iggyantioch lol, because YAHWEH in all of his sovereignty, wouldn’t have been able to use anyone else, had she said “No.” lol why would you place the Creator in such a small weird box, as if to say he could not bring forth his Son without mary? Odd. I don’t think Roman Catholics understand who Elohim is. But then again you’re so focused on dead people’s writings and on worshiping those dead people, that you completely miss out on who YAHWEH is, and even more so the fact that there is only ONE way to Him, and that is through CHRIST.
The women in Revelation 12 cannot be Mary according to Roman Catholic teaching since the women in revelation 12 experiences childbearing pain while the RCC teaches that Mary did not experience childbearing pain at all, so this whole argument crumbles down.
The experience of childbearing pain is often seen as symbolic rather than literal when applied to Mary. This pain is sometimes interpreted as the spiritual anguish she suffered during the crucifixion of Jesus, aligning with the prophecy of Simeon in Luke 2:35, which mentions a sword piercing her soul. This interpretation suggests that Mary's "labor pains" were not physical but related to her suffering at the crucifixion, thus not contradicting the belief in her painless childbirth due to her immaculate conception.
@@chrissimon5821 Great rebuttal. The Woman in Revelation 12 does not solely symbolise Mary (which it very obviously does, to deny this you have to jump through more "loops and holes" than we supposedly do), it symbolises Israel and the Church also. Scripture often combines historical, spiritual and cosmic meanings. Besides, Mary experiencing no birth pangs is not dogma, it's a small t tradition.
The verse immediately preceding Rev 12:1 is Rev 11:19 which says "Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant could be seen in the temple..." Rev 11:19 is key to undestanding Rev 12. Tell me what Rev 11:19 means. I doubt you know.
What always blows my mind about modern day protestants and their views on The Blessed Mother , is it doesn’t align AT ALL with their own for-fathers of their own tradition. Y’all should read up on Martin Luther and Calvin lol. Y’all could say “ oh I don’t have to follow everything Luther or Calvin taught “ but then where does your teaching come from? Who interprets ? You? I don’t know why that’s always so hard for a Protestant to grasp….you hold to NEW traditions we hold to the oldest tradition. That’s it.
This guy explained Genesis 3:15 wrong!! Remember women don’t carry “SEEDS “, Women carry EGGS. Men carry SEEDS = Sperm. So Genesis 3:15 is talking about how the woman is going to conceive the Messiah through the Holy Spirit.
This is why I left Catholicism. Why are we praying to Mary who is not God, not sinless and not capable of hearing prayers much less powerful enough to answer them? Its blasphemy to deny the fact that Jesus is the ONLY sinless human to ever walk the earth
We pray with Mary to God. Prayers directed at her are being brought to God. What you are thinking about is worship, which is offered to God alone in the Eucharist. To think that prayers to Mary is “blasphemous” just goes against what the earliest Christians believed. In fact the denial of her importance is blasphemous.
You left strawman Catholicism you created in your mind. I'm sorry if anyone in the Church taught you wrong or gave you bad examples. Bad apples are everywhere.
Mary isn’t divine, we pray to saints in heaven so they can take our prayers to God. Being Sinless doesn’t make you God. Saints in Heaven can receive prayers. The Body of Christ cannot be divided. This is the Faith, for the first 1500 years of it this want disputed. Why do you feel you know better than the first 1500 years of Christians.
@@pianoatthirtydo you have one example of an apostle or other 1st century Christian who prayed to Mary or held any of these catholic dogmas regarding Mary?
To deny that Mary could have been conceived without original sin is to underestimate the infinite power of God. God is not bound by time or space, and the redemptive sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ transcends time, applying not only to those after His death and resurrection but also to those who came before. As Revelation 13:8 declares: "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." The Blessed Virgin Mary was preserved from original sin by a unique grace from God, made possible through the merits of Jesus Christ. Her Immaculate Conception is a testament to God’s perfect plan of salvation.
Did you read what you just wrote? Not having any evidence for something is not the same thing as denying that God could do something? What on earth are you talking about?
if that was that was the case then there was no need for the righteous of old to go to Abraham's bosom, they could have all been sinless and just gone to heaven... sounds like doctrine trying to twist the wisdom of God.
27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” 28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
28 doesn't sound like Him at all. "Rather" here means instead of. That would be borderline disrespecting His mother. Blessed "also" sounds more like the Christ I know. I suspect a little modification through translation has occurred here.
@juanalvarado4243 Yes, and Mary perfectly heard the Word of God and obeyed the Word of God until the end. Jesus always honoured and elevated his mother. He fulfilled all prophesies and laws, inc. Honour your father and mother.
Some protestants domt give mary enough respect. Well an angel gave her respect saying you are full of grace before Jesus was conceived in her womb. Mary was called blessed among women by Elizabeth moved by the spirit of God or the holy spirit. John leaped in elizabethss womb at the sound of marys voice. Jesus said blessed are those who believe without seeing. Elizabeth said to her blessed are you who believed the lord would fulfill her promise. Mary is blessed and Christians give her no respect by calling her just a holy woman.
She was just a holy woman that God chose for His son to give birth to. Just because she was ‘blessed’ does not mean she is to be worshiped nor prayed to. She was born in sin like you and I. Those facts don’t attribute to disrespect. They are just the facts
@ it is totally the same thing, Catholicism just likes to change definitions. If you are communicating with somebody that is no longer physically here on this earth, but is a spirit…. Then you are praying to that spirit. The word of God says that there is only one mediator between God and man, and that is Jesus. If you are calling on someone else to mediate on your behalf, then you are attributing worship to that person. And why would you not just pray directly to Jesus who lives to intercede for us.??
Respectfully, i feel like we Christians are arguing about the wrong things, the main things are have we accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are we living repentant lives are we constantly making God the center of our lives and abiding by his Will. This is just my personal opinion
Mother of God ? No, she was Temporarily the Mother of Jesus for about 33 years. He has existed for Eternity, Mary has not. God does not have a mother, strictly speaking…Eternality is one of the attributes that God shares with no one, He is Alpha & Omega.
I am sorry but this is complete BS. Revelation 12 has another interpretation, one that is already it in scripture. The woman there is not Mary sorry. Also no one in the first 3 centuries of Christianity believed in Mary's assumption. All these nonsense is derived from the idea of theotokos - a very bad theology.
@Emmanuel_EEE is the bush in Exodus the God bearer when assumed the form of fire ? Or is the earth God bearer when God walked upon it when He assumed Humanity to visit Abraham? It turns out God assumed forms all the time. Was God confined in Mary when He assumed Humanity? If yes, then can you still say He is God if he is not omnipresent? Mary is the Mother of the form God assumed.
I’m a former Protestant. Protestants have an issue of not fully underwriting scripture, and also assuming they know Catholicism more than Catholics. When I finally looked into Catholicism myself, it led me to becoming Catholic. I was a Protestant for my entire life, 37 years. Not one Catholic, not one, believes Mary is the second Jesus. Again, Protestants routinely mischaracterize Catholicism because they can’t argue the merits well. God did not split the church 1500 years after he walked.
I get that marian dogma's are confusing to find in the early church. But the eucharist and apostolic succession are not. Same with there is no sola scriptura of the 66 books
The woman in Revelation 12 is the nation of Israel. The 12 stars refer to the 12 tribes of Israel. The woman’s flight into the wilderness for 1,260 days refers to the future time called the Great Tribulation. No where in the Bible does it explicitly say Mary was assumed nor did not die a body death. God said ALL have sinned. That includes Mary. The RC religion places attributes that belong to Jesus onto Mary. Jesus is sinless, mediator, advocate, and saviour. The RC religion says Mary is also sinless, mediator, advocate and saves souls. Scripture, God’s word, does NOT support those heretical teachings.
I appreciate that you had this conversation because I didn’t understand how Mary would’ve been sinless according to Catholicism. It also confirms how I cannot be Catholic because the doctrine, to me, is absurd and is not something I accept.
Mary was saved by God in Catholic theology, through Christ, but saved by God preventing Her from sinning rather than saving Her from sin She already committed. For an analogy, consider a pit as sin. Mary would be saved by God stopping Her from falling into the pit. We would be saved by God throwing a rope into the pit, and pulling us out.
We know what the Word says about adding anything to or taking anything away from this Book. Catholicism is beyond dangerous. We don’t need to speculate as the Bible is sufficient
@kine5510 When did Jesus say that? I know He is fully human but He is also Fully or truly God. Jesus is unique and the only unique one, that excludes Mary.
@@frae7143 The phrase “all have sinned” is a general statement about humanity’s fallen condition, but it doesn’t necessarily mean there are no exceptions. For example, we know Jesus is an exception, as He is sinless (Hebrews 4:15). If Jesus can be excluded, it’s at least possible that God could make another exception. The word "all" in Greek (pas) is often used in Scripture to describe general truths rather than absolute universality. For example: In Mark 1:5, it says, “All the people of Judea and Jerusalem went out to him [John the Baptist],” but we understand this to mean a significant number, not literally every individual. In similar fashion, "all" in Romans 3:23 refers to humanity in general, not necessarily every single person without exception. Mary’s role as the Mother of Jesus is unique in salvation history. If God chose to preserve her from sin to prepare her as the vessel for His Son, this would align with His power and providence. Luke 1:28 refers to her as “full of grace,” a phrase some interpret to suggest a unique holiness given to her by God. This does not diminish her need for a Savior (Luke 1:47), but rather emphasizes God’s grace working in her in a unique way. Jesus is the most evident exception to “all have sinned” because of His divine nature and role as the Savior. Similarly, if Mary were an exception, it would not be by her own merit but solely by God’s grace, fitting her role in bearing the sinless Son of God. This would make her an exception not by nature, but by divine action. If we can acknowledge that Jesus is excluded from the “all” in Romans 3:23 due to His unique mission and nature, it’s possible to consider that God could have made another exception for Mary due to her unique role in salvation history. Whether or not one accepts this depends on theological tradition, but it does not contradict Scripture outright to suggest that Mary could be a divinely ordained exception.
@ That’s not true. The Godpel is centered around Christ. Believing something wrong about Mary which is irrelevant to the Gospel message is not a damnable offense. The apostles didn’t say “anyone who confesses Jesus Christ is Lord and believes Mary is Queen, the new eve, and new Ark of the convenient will be saved.” Can you tell me in which gospel or in which of Paul’s writings Christ or them said believing Mary is the new Ark is necessary for salvation? No? I thought so
“Super fascinating how you explained the scripture behind the catholic veneration of Mary but to me, I’m just going to ignore that.” God bless you brother hope to see you in the Catholic Church soon.
So if Mary was sinless then that must mean Jesus didnt die for her and she therefore didnt need a savior. The Bible clearly says no one is without sin. And no one is good but God. It does not say no one but Mary. If God made people sinless then why did Jesus give his life for us???
Not what Catholics believe even though I’m not catholic Jesus saved Mary the minute he came to her body and since he was prophesied Mary received the future redemption that Jesus was going to give
God is outside time and space. For him to creat her sinless for the purpose of being the Mother of Jesus is within his power to do. Or do you not believe he can do that ?
@@T.Truthtella-n3i this is from rejected writings (by the Catholic Church) that didn’t make it into the Bible. Even the CC claims it’s a legend. They just ran with it I guess.
These people are mixing paganism with Christianity and they are rejecting the Sufficiency of Christ's Finishing It on the Cross. He said it is finished but the roman catholic church says nope.
The Roman Catholic Church is clearly in error when it comes to the doctrines of Mary’s sinlessness and bodily assumption. These beliefs are among the most obvious examples of where their theology strays from Scripture. They rely on stretching biblical texts and making unwarranted implications that are not supported by the plain reading of God’s Word.
"Stetching biblical texts" such as the direct reading that Mary is at enmity with the snake and that she is full of grace? Or the explicit text of a bodily Queen standing on the moon and clothed with the sun. This is just reading the text for what it says.
I guess you didn’t see the part where the Trinity is not mentioned in the Bible yet you subscribe to that? That was solidified at the council of Nicaea which was after the Bible’s time line.
The Ascension of Isaiah “[T]he report concerning the child was noised abroad in Bethlehem. Some said, ‘The Virgin Mary has given birth before she was married two months.’ And many said, ‘She has not given birth; the midwife has not gone up to her, and we heard no cries of pain’” (Ascension of Isaiah 11 [A.D. 70]). No "cries of pain" would indicate the "birthing pain" curse of sin is notnpresent with this woman. Notice the year.
Excellent job Alex. I think a great point is that in the 4th century when the earliest evidence of intercessionary prayers to Mary is from, the church was combating all manner of heresies either denying the dvininity of Jesus or even espousing gnostic beliefs that we are all God's. So fact that the role of Mary is not noted historically as an issue shows that it was mainstream. God bless you all
So this started over 300 years after Jesus rose from the dead? We can pray straight to God you know... If someone is born of Spirit like Jesus said in John 3, then God dwells in us because the Holy Spirit is God.
Catholics used the Nivea council definition of Trinity happening 300 years later as reason why any Mariology dogmas should also be accepted despite coming so late. There is a major difference; with Trinitarian doctrine you can go to the Bible and early writings and find everything in harmony. While with Marian, it is so vague! Just take Revelation 12, how can anyone use it as reason for assumption, just because there was sign of a woman in heaven? If that is the case, well the woman who appears is still pregnant and if that speaks of Mary, she is still pregnant in heaven!

The problem most the account Mary was “teaching” contradicting the Bible and the word of God remember the devil can perform miracle too.
I agree. He’s leaving that out. Cuz he’s trying to answer biblically. I think when Protestants do research it they probably look at the apparitions as conspiracies.
After hearing his explanation, my logical brain thought “yes I can see that, but without having to read in to it or fill in the gaps we wouldn’t come to that conclusion based solely off scripture it self because scripture it self tells us we are all sinners”
Jesus being sinless is because he was divine, because he is God in the flesh sin is not of his nature.

"my spirit rejoices in my God my savior" -Mary (who needs a savior because she's a sinner)
When you are prevented from sinning, is that because of God's grave keeping you from sinning?🤔
Catholics believe God’s grace was retroactively given to Mary and prevented the sin. So, this argument does not work
Luke 1:26-28 "And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace"
Is there room for sin in a person full of grace? Does he need more grace not to sin?

Out of curiosity, what would catholics usually say to Romans 3:10-12, “as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” To me it seems scripture teaches that only God is without sin.. Jesus said “No one is good but God alone..” Also making a claim to deity because Jesus was indeed good, making him God.. Hard for me to reconcile this ..
46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”
48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
What is your point?
Merry Christ’s Mass ❤
Luke 1:47: Mary herself declares, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” This indicates that she, too, needed a Savior, which would not be necessary if she were sinless.
While Mary was uniquely “highly favored” (kecharitōmenē in Luke 1:28), this word reflects God’s grace upon her, not her inherent sinlessness.
Mary is forever sinless.

She was ASSUMED into Heaven by the power of God. She did not ascend by her own power.
That’s just an assumption.
@@KnightFel I see what you did there. 😏
Thank you. Why is it so hard for people to comprehend the difference?
funny story, Mary not the first to be taken up to heaven.
They don’t want to
This Queen of Heaven stuff makes me really uncomfortable.
Exactly.

12 “A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head@
“As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!””
Luke 11:27-28 ESV
But why did Jesus make this statement.
Yes Jesus is affirming Mary is blessed because she heard the word of God and kept it.
She did hear the word and she kept it lol. That's why she's double blessed. She nursed GOD and obeyed Him. Wowza!

False, it was never discussed because it’s not biblical. Just like all the rest of modern day false theology.
Thank you for bringing that up! I replied to some of the commenters saying something similar. 😊 Merry Christmas!
Luke 1:46 And Mary said:
“My soul [a]magnifies the Lord,
47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
48 For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;
For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.
49 For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
She was a Godly woman who had the faith of Abraham and trusted God for salvation because she was a sinner as we all are or she would not have needed a Savior.
In the Book of Luke, the Bible says that she was full of grace. Since when are sinners full of grace? Your interpretation is not biblical.
All truths of Christianity are a paradox. We are full of grace and yet remain blood covered sinners.
James 5:16 16-18 NKJV
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
Yes God saved her from ever falling into sin. There

This is taking a lot of mental gymnastics to try and tie everything in to Mary being assumed bodily up into heaven.
@pianoatthirty no kidding 😅
@@pianoatthirty exactly, this is a double edged sword for the Protesters.
It's mental gymnastics because he is appealing to sources outside the Bible. The Bible does not support Marian dogma
So if Jesus never sinned and Jesus is God, and Mary had Jesus and never sinned also, and Mary was born before Jesus then what does that make Mary ??? I think it’s pretty obvious what that means !
“Master teach us how to pray.” - The Apostles
“Pray like this: Hail Mary, full of grace…” - Jesus
Wait, that doesn’t seem right.
Guess that’s why we start with “Our father who art in heaven…”
@ Is that why Jesus ended it with a “Hail Mary?”
Oh, that’s right, he didn’t.
@@ZenSponge no one ever claimed he did, nor that it was required to be said
@@JoshYng Ah, I must have imagined Father Garcia telling me to pray three Hail Mary’s, and four Our Fathers back when.
Mary is the New Eve and it’s done out of a particular grace, for that specific Role in the Salvation Plan.
Rom 11:32: "For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that he may be merciful to all."
The thing is that everyone else is by nature a son or daughter of Adam and Eve.

Protestanism is exactly this. No ifs, buts, uhmmms, uhhs about it
I think its more like the fruit of Sola Scriptura.
"We don't worship her in the way we worship God."
Right you worship her uniquely. Agreed.

There’s a difference between “pray” and “worship”. Worship requires a sacrifice.. that’s reserved for God exclusively.
Actually we don’t worship Mary. It’s yall who don’t worship God at all 😂
Worship requires sacrifice, which is why Jesus told the Samaritan woman that soon worship would be everywhere (worship/sacrifice was at the Temple in Jerusalem).
I thought the same thing
How do we deal with Luke 2:48 and Mark 3:21; 31 where, in the text, Mary sins on two occasions? She forgets Jesus’ divine identity and secondly she tries to arrest him because she’s worried he’s gone out of his mind!
Mary never sinned, to claim that she did is demonic blasphemy.
@ so Luke and Mark under the guidance of the Holy Spirit are guilty of blasphemy? You have to explain the text, you can’t just dismiss it.
says who? who said she NEVER sinned? where does it say that in the scriptures? also is there not one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ?
Merry Christmas! I just wanted to point out that Revelation 12 has absolutely nothing to do with Mary. The woman is Israel, which is why the crown on her head has twelve stars (twelve tribes of Israel). Not only can we tell these verses are about Israel by the context, but we can refer back to Genesis 37:9-10 where Joseph has a dream:
Genesis 37:9-10
[9] Then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, “Behold, I have dreamed another dream.
Whether she died or not is also debated among Catholics
The dogmatic definition leaves room to believe either way.
Exactly. And to continue, if God caused that, is it really fair for people to go to hell?
Voice of Reason does an incredible job. Unfortunately it falls on deaf ear s

@@T.Truthtella-n3i Absolutely THIS. You summed it up so well.
Elevating your relationship with God over the mother of God‘s relationship with God is laughable and pitiful😂

As Revelation 13:8 declares:
"And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."
The Blessed Virgin Mary was preserved from original sin by a unique grace from God, made possible through the merits of Jesus Christ. Her Immaculate Conception is a testament to God’s perfect plan of salvation.
Sounds good but where are you getting all this from 🤔
Bunch of bull crap that cannot be proven
Did you read what you just wrote? Not having any evidence for something is not the same thing as denying that God could do something? What on earth are you talking about?
Where is the verse that says this please? I’m curious
if that was that was the case then there was no need for the righteous of old to go to Abraham's bosom, they could have all been sinless and just gone to heaven... sounds like doctrine trying to twist the wisdom of God.

What do Catholics do with the 3 1/2 years in revelation 12? It says that God nourished the women for 3 1/2 years after Jesus returned to his thrown.
27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.”
28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

@@JesusOVEReverything777 we don't worship or pray to her. We ask her to pray for us like we do the saints. It's not the same thing.
@@straightoutacopenhagen1672 so you literally just admitted you pray to saints !
It’s called intercession of saints, they are more alive than we are. They are part of the body of Christ

Well there are some things we can't disagree on. Just look at Church history and how harshly heresys were handled in the first 800 years of the Church
But the Veneration of Mary is idolatry.. Idolatry is a serious sin...
Mother of God ? No, she was Temporarily the Mother of Jesus for about 33 years. He has existed for Eternity, Mary has not. God does not have a mother, strictly speaking…Eternality is one of the attributes that God shares with no one, He is Alpha & Omega.
Christ is God. Mary will ALWAYS be His HOLY and Spotless Mother.
@@T.Truthtella-n3i how is she holy? why isn't joseph special if he's his dad? AND HOW IS MARY SPOTLESS THAT MAKES NO SENSE HELP😭😭😭
She’s spotless because no stain of sin is on Her.
So Mary isn't the God bearer? Jesus is God, Mary is the Mother of Jesus, so Mary is the Mother of God.
This was AMAZINGLY explained 👏🏾🌹
That's why he's the Voice of Reason 😂
It’s the new Israel, the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
Omg. After 2000 years your genius has finally corrected the churches errors. 😂
@@T.Truthtella-n3i Ah yes, good ol replacement theology
I appreciate that you had this conversation because I didn’t understand how Mary would’ve been sinless according to Catholicism. It also confirms how I cannot be Catholic because the doctrine, to me, is absurd and is not something I accept.
Mary was saved by God in Catholic theology, through Christ, but saved by God preventing Her from sinning rather than saving Her from sin She already committed.
For an analogy, consider a pit as sin.
Mary would be saved by God stopping Her from falling into the pit. We would be saved by God throwing a rope into the pit, and pulling us out.
Respectfully but how does that align with the concepts of free will? Using your analogy, God is taking Mary’s freewill to jump into the pit.
We know what the Word says about adding anything to or taking anything away from this Book. Catholicism is beyond dangerous. We don’t need to speculate as the Bible is sufficient
The Catholic Church compiled that book.
The scriptures say all have sinned, that 'all' in Greek means all, and that would include Mary.
(not catholic). But Jesus is said to possess the fullness of humanity. Yet that " all" obviously does not include Jesus.
Buy your dumb logic that would also mean Jesus sinned.
Just because you’re sinless that doesn’t mean you’re divine or have any other elevated position
Jesus too ? Uhoh Sola Scriptura not so easy 🤤
For example:
In Mark 1:5, it says, “All the people of Judea and Jerusalem went out to him [John the Baptist],” but we understand this to mean a significant number, not literally every individual.
Mary is the New Eve, blessed among women, the Queen-Mother, and Ark of the New Covenant.
The only accurate statement is her being blessed among women. None of the other things stated are true
They are true and anyone that denies them will go into the pit.🔥🔥
@ That’s not true. The Godpel is centered around Christ. Believing something wrong about Mary which is irrelevant to the Gospel message is not a damnable offense. The apostles didn’t say “anyone who confesses Jesus Christ is Lord and believes Mary is Queen, the new eve, and new Ark of the convenient will be saved.” Can you tell me in which gospel or in which of Paul’s writings Christ or them said believing Mary is the new Ark is necessary for salvation? No? I thought so
@@gospelfreak5828 exactly. they have no response dude. you and me will see who goes up on judgement day ig
Jesus is the ark. it makes no sense for Mary to be the ark
Not what Catholics believe even though I’m not catholic
Jesus saved Mary the minute he came to her body and since he was prophesied Mary received the future redemption that Jesus was going to give
God saved Mary before she was conceived in womb of St. Anna, hence the Immaculate Conception.
She me in Scripture where it says Mary wasn’t assumed into Heaven.
So the first sinless human in the world was Mary ? And the then the second one was Jesus ??
The first sinless human would have been Adam (before the fall).
Bro, keep it on youtube.
The Ascension of Isaiah
“[T]he report concerning the child was noised abroad in Bethlehem.
If that is the case, well the woman who appears is still pregnant and if that speaks of Mary, she is still pregnant in heaven!
stop praying to Mary. She is not God. God shares his glory with no man.
You can find intercession of Mary in the Sybillian oracle, a Jewish book from the 2nd century
