That is of course up until the moment the purple one goes for his Waluigi smash and realises he's not face-to-face with Luigi... he's staring into the eyes of ONE JUMP MAN.

If you thought that, you clearly don't know Shaggy. He has about as many braincells in his head as Goku does..... AND HALF OF THEM ARE IN HIS DOG!!!! Plus, we're talking about a character who chases guys in masks pretending to be ghosts for a living(or a hobby, or whatever being a member of Mystery INC. counts as). The guy should be able to recognize he's dealing with a guy in a mask, but everytime he genuinely believes it's a real ghost, until like halfway through an episode. And sometimes he doesn't figure it out until the very end.

I think goku is even smarter well in battle intelligence atleast. But shaggy is also shown some weird smartness like that moment where shaggy said we always wear the same clothes, that moment was when shaggy forget they're to get lounge.
I love how waluigi panics after luigi is barely fazed by his attacks
even Shaggy was bounced around and sent flying
but luigi barely moves (aside from the first attack from titan waluigi)
That's mostly because Shaggy was poisoned, which limits his power.
Luigi on the other hand...is still in peak condition

During the first fight against Waluigi, yes, Shaggy briefly goes all out and absolutely demolishes Waluigi. But before than, he was holding back, and here, he's hindered.
Waluigi in all honesty despite his many battles he's somehow the weakest one there. He only managed to beat Shaggy cause he poisoned his food and no matter what he does he can't even phase One Jump Man.

He uses the most versatility and hax, but all of it is literally just copying a whole bunch of weaker characters. But his raw power and speed can never match Shaggy's Ultra Instinct who probably wasn't even going all out. Or the One Jump Man, who can never truly be matched and always wins even when doing absolutely nothing.

Man, you really can’t choose a side here. Shaggy saving Waluigi was a stupid move, but you also realize that Waluigi wants what he wants, a sparring partner. Then Luigi is left without his brother thanks to the villain Shaggy saved. The storyline is crazy
considering shaggy is a crossover with goku, letting villains live on because he has some degree of respect for them and thinks that they can improve honestly fits
I'm not necessarily rooting *against* Shaggy or Waluigi.
But I *am* rooting *FOR* Luigi, as he did nothing wrong.

Yeah, I agree the music was so good but it did feel slightly underwhelming, and it felt too sure, so I really hope part five is slightly longer

My headcannon is the other way around, Jumpman as the family name, Mario Jumpman and Luigi Jumpman. But every knows Mario as Mario and Luigi as Mario's brother, sooo the Mario Bros. This also separates the Jumpman that fought Donkey Kong I (AKA Cranky Kong) as the Mario Bros. Father or grandfather.
