My husband died recently, so I’m finding your videos just the ticket to perk me up when nothing else seems to help. We had a good 50 years together, but i don’t find that much consolation yet. I recall in my younger years that horses were excellent therapy. Even just grooming them was so comforting. I don’t think i can ride anymore tho; I’ve got an overly injured and now arthritic leg with two joint replacements, which doesn’t do too well in a stirrup. Maybe i can go over to one of the nearby stables and volunteer to groom their horses. In the meantime, ill enjoy your great video creations! Thanks!

I think your idea of volunteering sounds wonderful. Even just going over to talk to them about it. Volunteering with animals is my ultimate solution for how to cope with my depression. Maybe go way before you think you're ready. It's amazing what you can actually do vs. what your grief tells you can do. Please post here again so you can get support from us. : )

Maybe there’s a therapeutic riding center or horse rescue in your area. They can always use an extra pair of hands and helping is healing.
We have been married 59 years and are not that far away from what will happen to us. It is a transition that awaits each of us and will tally up what we have learned from hopefully a good life. ❤
Grief is unkind, please remember to be kind to yourself. Regularly eating, drink water and self care are all important. Maybe some shopping therapy, my mom buys clearance things and takes them to the nearest woman's shelter. She is a recent widow, too. Commiseration is the best approach to grief, imo. She got so angry at well-meaning but repetitive platitudes around month 3.
We just grow with grief, there's no getting over it; that's not how love works. Just living with and after some time thriving with; the memories. ❤ The wonderful years of memories. ❤❤

I agree completely. I live in NYC and ii enjoy the horses, the knowledge she shares and the scenery. This is a positive and happy channel. I always say she works with the angels.

It's not behaving, you do things you know you shouldn't but you must because the engine is not working optimally. No it's not ideal. But it is necessary.
I think just one video a week with a couple of shorts is fine for YT. It's important to keep you, your family, and all the animals healthy. ❤

I love how you share so much with us, the videos are always so interesting. But please, if you feel you need to rush or cut down on time with your horses just know that we'll be fine with fewer videos! You and the horses, and Huckleberry and Tiny too of course, are all important and we'll still be here when you do post!
Yes we can all wait for when you can do the videos. Yours are not a fly by night that we will forget after a few days or so. I know the algorithm messes with you tubers if you post less so I get it. But we support you if you need time. ❤️
How to tell when someone has never owned or worked horses: Why don't you ever ride?
- Groom, muck, feed, repair, rinse, repeat and then fall over from exhaustion while thinking "Oh yeah I was going to try to get a ride in today". 🤣🤣🤣

I don't know how you can stay up so late and get up so early and not be exhausted! You're like the energizer buuny! I have a tortie girl cat that only wants snuggles on her terms, so seeing Tiny the same way makes me smile.

C.C.use of music is a very small part of her videos and is mixed subtly and I find it does not distract. Like yourself I enjoy how C.C. documents her day with animals and chores. ☘

CC is right. It’s the reality of chores vs. riding. Many days you can be too tired after all the chores or you run out of time after doing all your chores. And sometimes it is not as fun to ride alone and you wish you had a riding partner. It’s the pros and cons of horse ownership when you do everything yourself. And CC has many horses! She will get around to it soon. Great video today! Thanks for the fun. ❣️🍀

There is nothing better for our souls than being able to be around animals, being around nature too and to grow ones own veg etc. One has to be careful more now than ever when it comes to the food chain, poisonous pesticides within foods etc. Take a listen to Robert F Kennedy JR who is running for president right now in America, he will explain how foods are causing ill health to the people, the foods cause Diabetes, Eczema, Asthma, Arthritis and allergies. All related to lectins causing tears in the gut lining causing poison to pour out in to the blood system. To grow owns own veg etc is much healthier and smarter and cheaper. It’s not about being rich it’s about the freedom and the health of body mind and soul that farm life can bring.

as long as the animals are taken care of the vids are secondary.
There may be no way to measure the benefits of C.C. videos are to human beings who watch, but it is significant and coincides with great care for her animals. It may be another example where the sum man be greater than their parts.
@@artemisXsidecross But the MOST important thing is that CC takes care of herself, and gets enough rest. The fact that she constantly gets injured shows she is doing too much!
The welfare of the horses also has to come before the videos. None of us want her or the dear horses to suffer for us.

You know, if you can't do long videos every time, because of time constraints, I for one, would not mind viewing shorter ones, most of the time with a longer one when you have time. Horses come first. I love watching your daily activities, and all the improvements in the animals, but would not want you wearing yourself out. Thank you for all your efforts.

About the water trough. You can get a plastic bracelet that you can get for holding keys. Leave it on the handle and wear it when the water is on. That can remind you to turn it off. Jason at Cog Hill farm uses them. Have a great day and congrats on 71k!

You are so different from other creators in this horsey genre. I am always amazed by your vast knowledge when it comes to caring for horses. I love that you share what you're doing and even try to educate us a little bit. You are not just clever. You are very creative.
I am fairly new to your channel and I love it. I have learned so much about horses thank you. I have always loved looking at horses and I love all the cute things they do but I have never had the chance to get near one or ride one. I am 73 and I just love what you do bless you. I have had dogs cats rabbit and chickens things like that. I hope your ankle is better. Thank you again for sharing your horses with people like me.
