Anyone struggling with drooping monitors? My monitor, at the highest setting on the pole is only good for about 4" of clearance from the desk. I have a buddy with the same mount and doesnt have this problem.
Someone recently wrote in his Amazom review for this product that now, they are sending the V2 edition, that it less stable than the first version. Maybe that's the reason?
It’s so cool that your kids gets to spend some quality time with you as you do something you love, if I ever become a dad I wanna do something similar. Thanks for the great review, I’m planning on getting this mount very soon for my setup (:
Hey man! Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for posting this. I was struggling for hours and it was tough finding the right UA-cam videos that was assembling the exact same thing. I also suck at following directions so you made this whole experience super easy for me. So thank you!!
Thanks for this video! I just moved out and I’m setting up my new office and this video was helpful and made me feel more comfortable about setting up everything on my own
Dude, thank you so much for this. I was struggling with step one for ages just for you to mention the thread on the clamp had to be screwed in the opposite way to what I was doing 🤣🤦🏻 feel stupid but that small detail was a MASSIVE help. For that I built along with you and the kids to make sure I didn’t make another silly mistake.
I just purchased this mount from Amazon (4-21-21) and I paid $39.95 for it. 650GringoGarge bought it 2 1/2 years ago (video posted 7-28-18) for $27.99. That's a $12 price increase in just 2 1/2 years, but I digress. This video saved me a bunch of time assembling and installing my stand. Thanks GringoGarage!
Thanks for the video, buddy. It's great to be able to see the build quality of an item priced at half what most retailers want for pretty much the exact same device... I'm also blind as crap, so it's a big help to see the assembly process in advance.
Nice...Thanks for sharing! It's always refreshing to see people actually go through ALL of the steps when setting up these dual monitor arms and not skipping ahead so thanks for that :) I had just packaged up a dual monitor arm I got off of Amazon... Huanuo (model HNCM18) but was disappointed that it didn't support my two 27in Dell Ultrasharp monitors (even though it says that it does). Both of my monitors just kept sliding down the pole and wouldn't stay tightened at the position were I wanted them at. So now I'm in the market for a new dual monitor stand were I can raise or slide both monitors up or down on the pole to adjust them were I need them to be. Oh...and of course one that will support two 27in monitors..lol.
Awesome video. I absolutely love how you involved your kids. I use to help my Dad holding the flashlight and getting him various tools when he would work on the old Zenith, and Phillips TV's. This is why I am in to IT work and electronics because of him. Thanks ..... Ordering right now.
I just bought this for my son…works perfectly…my only qualm (adhd kicking in) is one monitor is designed slightly different then the other..so they’re not the same height..like yours there’s an 1.25 inch difference between them…son seems ok with it so it’s all good
I think you just solved my problem with my new computer system. Deciding on a new monitor is maddening because of cost and all kinds of pricing. I decided on two ViewSonic VA2456-MHD_H2 for $272 mounted on Vivo stand you purchased. Total cost $312. Add in my new Apple M1 Mac Mini, Logitec MX keyboard and mouse and I have a killer new system. I can do all this for less than the upcoming $1400 check. Thanks
Great video and pure entertainment by the kids! Appreciate the step by step directions cuz I definitely would have drilled my desk LOL. Stand arrived today and going to set up later on... 💯
Mines coming in tomorrow just wondering how I would adjust the height of the monitors would I need to remove both monitors and lower/raise it to my liking or could I adjust height with monitors attached ?
The monitor arm is very convenient. I also use dual monitor arms. The top of the desk is very clean. The video was very interesting! With love from Japan :)

Thanks for sharing this video. i'm curious.. at 11:06 the back plate is not screwed to the back of the monitor with 4 screws? I thought all 4 holes on the plate sit flush with the 4 holes on the back of the monitor and screwed together. Is that mount only specific to your monitor?
I’m having some trouble setting my monitors on the arms. They aren’t sturdy, they won’t hold their position and tilt downwards. I’ve righted the nuts and bolts and they still fall downwards. Any help?

Idk why but I can’t get the part where u put the pole and the clamp together it just keeps on following out even tho we screw it very hard pls tell me whyyy we’ve been stuck for hours
@@5150GringoGarage Hmm, just measured the depth of the lip on my desk before it hits wood and It's only 1 7/8th (Just shy of 2") which means the C-clamp would be hanging out a bit. Think that would be a bad idea even if you're using 1x monitor stand instead of 2?

What was the connector piece you placed on the back of the monitor before being able to mount it on the stand. I can not find that adapter piece
