If you do not want to get stuck in Mumbai Traffic or Travel Uncomfortably in regular Mumbai Local during office hours in the Mumbai heat then AC Local is the best option for you.
AC Local runs periodically on the central line from major stations like Thane, Kalyan, Karjat, Kasara, and a few others.
You can check AC Local schedule online or on the M-Indicator App at the time of your travel.
You can now book your local train journey tickets through UTS or Yatri Apps which is an official ticketing app for Mumbai Local. Both apps are available for iOS and Android both.
Mumbai AC Local Train ticket fare from thane to CST is about 95 Rs which is more than 6 times the regular fare but you do get a premium traveling experience on the AC train. Also, If you compare the AC Local fare with OLA or Uber Cabs charges then it is just 10% of it.
We took 9.04 AM fast AC local from Thane to CSMT.
Look how empty the Mumbai AC Local is at 9 AM which usually is the peak time for offices & Colleges goers.
AC Local Train Mumbai gives instant relief from the scorching Mumbai heat as soon as you enter the bogie.
The fast local halts at only major stations like Mulund, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar, Byculla & CSMT.
If you want to attend a meeting or an event, If you are dressed up well to be presentable, If you want to reach on time, and if you can afford to spend extra bucks then you must take the Mumbai AC local.
The Mumbai AC Local Train journey is comfortable, soothing, and quick.
We reached the Mumbai CST station in just 40 mins from Thane.
