- I'm sharing you the process of FREE HIV testing and my actual test result (courtesy of loveyourself.ph). I aim to encourage folks to take advantage of this free service and be educated about HIV and AIDS (which is timely and relevant to our country, which is the Philippines). Speaking of timely, I'm also checking out this talk-of-the-town mobile gaming app, Pokemon Go.. but I guess I was in the wrong place on earth to catch 'em. Anyhow, hope you enjoy this vlog!

Checking the antibody alone is not that acurate because of a long window period, pls do the latest hiv test which looks for antigen p24 and antibodies. This newly hi tech hiv test will detect hiv in early as 7days because of the p24 antigen.

Hi, Antony. Yes - because HIV can be acquired not only thru sexual activities. You can get infected thru shared needles, infected blood, etc.. See article below:

Those are not symptoms of HIV. Usually wala siyang sintomas lalo pag early pa. So I suggest after 3 months from the sexual encounter, get tested sa social hygiene clinic in your barangay or schedule for free at loveyourself.ph

The only way to know your hiv status is to get tested, it doesnt mean if your hepa b,gonorhea,syphilis and hepa c is negative then your hiv negative. Get tested!

Non-Reactive means negative. It's advisable to get tested every 3-6 months especially if you're sexually active or with multiple partners.

Yes, that rapid HIV test kit is legit. But remember, to make sure that the result is accurate, you should undergo testing after 3 months of the risky sexual encounter. The virus has incubation period kasi. If you’re sexually active, get tested regularly (every 6 months)

HIV symptoms usually appear around 2 weeks after exposure. Same with COVID. What you feel right now is maybe caused by anxiety or fatigue. Just self-isolate and get enough rest and fluid intake.
