DRIVING ON CITY ROADS vs OFF-ROAD - HOW DOES TOYOTA TACOMA TRD PRO REALLY FEEL?

- Automotive Engineer David Chao was quite surprised to find that the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO has a very different steering feel compared to another TNGA-F platform vehicle, the Land Cruiser. In fact, David prefers the heavier, more truck-like feel of the hybrid Tacoma TRD Pro, based on driving both in city roads and over rough terrains. Watch the entire video as David talks about the unique personality of the new Tacoma TRD Pro.

Canadian 80K for the TRD Pro and 87K for the Trail Hunter. Toyota Canada as lost their minds and lost me as a loyal owner. Bought a Silverado Trail boss with the duramax.
David, I think a Camry would be a better city 'car' than any Tacoma. 😁
The only thing I feel is my wallet hurting
I am loving my offroad manual base in Canada as well. Think I got about 1850km on it now
Yes ,i agree 👍 david this is s home run hitter of a midsized pickups it is way better and looks way better than the other manufacturers by far, great topi David!
Excellent video and evaluation. I am glad to see now they distinguished it from the Land Cruiser!
Pricing it's insane, these have a basic interior and yet they're asking almost 80k for it.
David, are you sure the sound difference wasn't coming from inside the truck? I've heard anecdotal observations that Toyota has added fake noise to disguise the drone of a 4-banger. Haven't been able to confirm the accuracy of this, though.
The Tacoma review I’ve been waiting for. Thanks!
Do you think the TRD Pro is worth the price over a TRD Off Road or Sport? Just discovered your channel, thanks!
The question is it sounds like you have no issue differentiating the 3 models so it seems like money is not an issue for you.. with that being said go with the trd pro.. trd sports and off road is a diff of 4-5k between the two. Trd pro is about 10k more than those other two models. Probly more.. if I have the money I will
Go with the trd pro..
Hi David, I was curious on say the higher trim tacomas is the arm rest on the doors soft like it is on the tundras? I test drove a trdoffroad and it was plastic. I didn't like it. One thing on my drive that I'm glad I was able to try was the a/c. Mainly because I didn't like initially like the placement of the two center vents. I didn't care for it. I like how they are in my tundra, sitting alot higher is more air flow in my opinion. What was your take on them?
Whats your take on the v6 in the tundra and lexus recalls?
Does Toyota pipe in fake engine noise through the stereo like on the Tundra?
Hi David,
Very nice midsize truck… TOYOTA hit the Bullseye again…🇯🇵🤍❤️🇺🇸
is he aired down at all for his off road sections?
Ima pure Canadian, always been a Toyota fan and owner, but for a $80K plus, small truck, that's built in Mexico, not Japan, Canada or US. Toyota as lost their head with this one.....
Hi David, between the TRD Pro and the Trail Hunter, which one would you buy?
He is not buying neither one. Way over price.
Price-Mexico-4cyl. No, thank you.
I really wish the 9th Next gen Hilux and 3rd Gen Fortuner goes hardcore like Tacoma and 4Runner
Hilux is due for a new design in a year or two, and I'm sure the Fortuner will follow.
If you don’t plan on going off road with Tacoma there’s really no point buying one .😊 city driving only I don’t see point of one get Ranger if you need tow in mid size truck segment
“Makes you feel like you are driving a V6”. Get new Nissan Frontier for lesser price with actual V6.
Black tear design
WAY OVER PRICED ..... new RAM RHO almost a same price with more power and more future
New tacoma especially the trd pro trim is way overpriced. Let's go brandon
2024 Sequoia , Tundra fit and finish American quality SMH
👍🤪🏳️🌈
No mention of the ISO seats on road, big miss
Dude , he’s not repeating. David’s giving us a general pictures only. There are tons of videos out there about the iso seats already . Search it up.
So insanely overpriced. I think toyota hates their buyers.
I wonder why there is a current trend to purchase 4x4 trucks in the U.S.A.. Are more buyers participating in winter sports? Or are they posers?
can i make money from youtube by converting text to sound?
I can't wait until these overpriced garbage Tacoma's start blowing engines like the new Tundras. Toyota lost their way and hates their customers. As a now former lifetime Toyota buyer I'm done with Toyota and just purchased a new Mazda CX-90 last night.
Propaganda. Turbo4 sucks
