The fan u fixed is used to cool electronic components heat through a heat sink...
Do you think that fixing this fan allows more air than the opposite wind when you ride your bike at 35 to 40km/ph?
Actually it blocks air to go between the fins of the radiator and affects the cooling efficiency of the radiator...
If u want ur radiator to cool more efficient try installing a fan with higher rpm which forces more air than the opposite wind when riding ur bike...
Nirmal Kumar, thank you for suggestion, actually i have noticed difference of 3 to 4 celcious between fan on and off, i observe difference on temperature indicator i have installed. And the main benefits of the fan i get is while riding slowly or in traffic, coz in that condition i observed that if the fans are off, temperatures increases dramatically in traffic, and if the fans are on it maintens temperature.

good one man I saw your blog. I must tell you, you have done wat these stingy factory managers didn't spend on as they might think in India the commuter bikes are only used for commuting and not distance travelling and people might face over heating and performance issues.

hello vicky , i drilled it with just normal power tool ( drill) the drill that used to make hole in walls or iron plate, any fabrication worker can do this task.

Raghu Ram , cost was around Rs 2500,
1350 oil cooler ( pulsar 220cc)
fans 500 , digital thurmometer 300, and other pipe, shockets, tube, driling hole etc total around 2500. fan are not facing wind , it jus look like that , fans air blowing direction is to oil cooler . means wind wud increase the speed of the fans :)

Its working perfectly bro , it maintains temperature , it past 5 years and my engine is still working perfectly even i go for long drive like 150km continue

tre mor , fans increase efficiency of radiator by about 3 times more heat exchange than natural , fan has start/stop switch , i start it only while riding long in Summer or if i see temperature going above 80c in indicator.
