Nothing he’s talking about…had anything to do with black culture. That was the industry culture, American culture. Too bad you can’t tell the difference.

This dude is wrong by the way we don't call Drake a culture vulture because he acts tough when we know he didn't grow up that way that's children mentally this dude just basically called us a bunch of children. There is a multitude of facets that caused people to call Drake a vulture, none of which involves his tough guy acts, that's a whole other issue.

People did love Lupe until he started threatening people with his Black Belts. 😂😂

God, I hate the reality where this ninja Drake won. I can just picture what his version of the Juneteenth concert would look like, we'll the obvious difference is that Drake would not do his OVO fest on that date and it would be all about his ego instead of putting on other artists. It would not have been a cultural thing.

You missed the point drake isnt just now being called out on being a culture vulture now. The reason is because it's more obvious to people who aren't really hip hop fans. They are casual listeners, real fans of hip hop knew this. Many artist said this before as well earl sweatshirt is one. Kendrick brought it to the forefront of people's attention and now are looking at it. And the pedophile thing is probably the a big reason too idk 😂😂.

Half the hood is filled with snitches, repost, p3do it is a major problem in the black community. Again we wouldn't be talking about if he would have won

Snoop is from the streets and so is Dre currently not being involved with streets and not being from the streets is two complete opposite things plus you could say Kendrick as well but everyone from the West coast earned they stripes don’t let this older version of snoop fool you he still a og is why people in La mess with Kendrick but what I will say this that no way shape or form will I be okay with it

Dre is not from the streets. Go learn history never banged a day in life. Just because you grew in the hood doesn't make you hood

Snoop was in gang but he was not tough. They have many accounts of him running for other people. He even tells stories of him running. Never heard any gangster stories about him

Black people, white people, any skin color people, we are the same in the end. The stories we tell ourselves about culture, background, and culture divide us. As a human I agree with most of what you say. But of course, there is a black culture, and black American culture, the one that brought us Hip Hop. There clearly is. But that doesn't mean it's without hypocrisy, as any culture. And it's Drake being called out for it. I am white, but I identify as human first. And as such I deeply love hiphip, although I know I can't fully grasp it's soul. I am not black and I don't know how it is to be treated like my skin color defines who I am. The closest I get to understanding it, is hip hop. And even from where I stand, listening to Drake never brought me anything in that respect. And I certainly would never consider calling any of his music hip hop. I don't know why. It might sound like it. But it's not it. I mean who would consider putting any of his songs in a top 100 hip hop list. Kendrick losing to Drake was never even an option. They are not in the same category. I would argue they are both not in the thug culture category either. And yes thug culture is full of hypocrisy. But although all thug culture is hip-hop related, all good hip-hop surely is not.
    Like Ominous said ua-cam.com/video/Sna_RQWQr1E/v-deo.html...and I 100% agree

We are not all the same we may be equal but there’s a difference in lifestyles we obviously have different up bringings

@Jesustakesdahit hell yes, I made that exact same point. You are calling me out on semantics. Of course, our opportunities and programming differentiate hugely depending on what appearance and culture you are born in to. But we are still all human. In that sense we are the same, equal. We all belong to the same race. It's
That is what I meant. We digress, but I think we agree....
