That is probably one of THE coolest things I have ever seen. Yeah the graphics are insanely good and the audio is beyond anything I have heard in a game before but the atmosphere, the way things unfold and that hint of a ufo flying above in the fog? That's just 10/10 on my sci-fi nerd meter. I can see this turning huge. The possible lore is making me tingle.

The open area's are meh at best. There is nothing in it as far i seen in the video. Idk if you can actualy explore for a bit and find things? But if not, then i see no reason for the area to be so big
@@cherrydragon3120 I think the open area enables the game to be immersive. I mean, come one, it's a quarantined zone because of alien abduction. You probably would want to cover a very large area for a quarantined zone especially if you don't know the underlying reason of why people vanished. Also, it's literally a rural area, and you can find a lot of empty spaces in rural areas.

I'm at 30:50 and as a hungarian, thats very creepy to see those triangle 3 light spots in the sky in this game, because 13 years ago we saw that thing with 6 other people too. We don't know what was that, and here it's a fictive story, but oh no 😅 is the developer saw that too?! What a great game with these spooky atmosphere and played by you Fooster, its just perfect

@@emmashepard1822 Nem gondoltam volna, hogy valaki még látott ilyet, nem, hogy akkor. Nálunk volt egy nagy "háromszög",(csúcspontokba világított) és több pici ilyen körülötte. A nagy lassan haladt kb kelet felé és kitakart egy jó nagy részt az égboltból. Csillagos volt az ég, de ott egy darab nem látszott, csak körülötte. Felhőre is gondoltunk, de túl szabályos, nem úgy viselkedett, ráadásul világít a 3 sarka? Van pár videó ilyenekről, sajnálom, hogy mi nem próbáltuk meg valahogy lefotózni, vagy videózni. Amiket ti láttatok egy helyben voltak azelőtt, mielőtt eltűntek?

On a serious note here, I know how it is to feel alone and helpless like the person at the beginning, I went through it for a long time. If you do start feeling like that then talk to someone about it, you are not alone. Thankfully I found Fooster, Fisk and Taco, and they can never understand how much their nutty banter means to me. To be given something to piss your pants laughing at has been my saviour, I am not overstating it when I say these three guys have helped save my life, and I will always be indebted to them for that.

When I feel alone, I put Fooster and friends on in the background. Hits differently compared to other UA-camrs. Fooster feels like a friend, not like someone "trying" to entertain others.

Exceptionally designed game.
You can clearly see influence from masterpiece movies like Stalker, Silent Hill and Annihilation.
I had a friend in Hungary who lived on a road that has an abandoned little church with a graveyard behind it. Behind that property there are train tracks and a small trail from which you could peak onto the graveyard.
Some of the coffins were actually open with bones hanging out and the atmosphere was a lot like in this game.

That story you were telling of something mimicking the birds could have been a cougar.
I have had an experience myself where I was working in a summer camp in Canada and we stayed in Tipis in the foothills of the rockies.
My tipi happened to be the one way at the edge of the camp, and one night we heard what sounded almost like a child crying, but it was just ever so slightly off so that we knew it wasnt a child.
Apparently they can mimic young deer or other animals in distress in order to bait out the parent to come and look for it and then they ambush attack.
Still to this day its the creepiest sound I've ever hear

Ever since I was a child, I've been thinking about making a horror video game that takes place in my hometown in Hungary.
In the early 90s, that place was very scary for me at night. I can't explain it, but I always felt that something bad, UFO-related, could happen at any moment.

I definitely like the ambient sounds in this game! Constantly hearing weird noises that will keep you on your toes and expecting something will jump out at you at any moment!
And also props to the game dev for being the only one person to work on the game alone and able to create the most realistic feel in the game's physics and lightings!

The game skips 3 entire days after you have that cocoon-thing vision in the RV. It goes from Oct 9 to Oct 12... Could it be a reference to the 'missing time' that many abductees experience?

And i can say i do actually saw few things in the night sky that i have no racional answer to. Like a bright white spot on the horizon appeared out of nowhere,stayed in the same space,that in a blink of an eye it disapeared and reapeared almost right above me,then shot out of the atmosphere straigth upwards.
It had no sound at all...ect.
I have to say that the best game that portrayed what mental illness is like is Hellblade. I saw a video about how the Dev's went and interviewed people with the same illness portrayed in the game. And then let the same people they interviewed see how the game portrayed the illness and they repeated it until the people with the mental illness agreed it was as close as they could get to what it really felt like. As a combat Vet with my own demons. Sadly after I came back from AFG games like this do nothing for me.Gonna try this game as my wife is Hungarian she will get a kick out of it. It was nice to see the care they went to shining a light on mental illness.
I watched someone else play this recently and they crossed that lake at the beginning that you wondered about, i don't think there was anything important there but some worthwhile visuals if you wanted to go back and check before episode 2 maybe, definitely not long enough for a video in itself though

What's my favorite part??? I can't friggin choose a favorite part! And the fact that this is made by one developer?! Unbelievable. I don't usually enjoy horror because it gets too much into jumpscares and stuff. There usually isn't much for story elements or anything, but not only did I love this, but its story is so detailed and intricate, its unbelievable. I'm definitely keeping my eyes peeled for the next video!

As someone who struggled with alcohol and hasn’t drank in over three years I feel for this, and anyone still struggling. It’s the worst of the worst feelings that it can bring on. Hopefully others can get over the viscous cycle that it can become.

I have never been impressed that much by a game’s visuals and atmosphere before, it’s absolutely incredible…and I hope it comes out on consoles too, everyone needs to experience this game!

I'm not in Michigan or Washington, but I live in a rural area of Tennessee (US) and am quite used to the sounds. On one of my many night walks, I believe last year, on a road I know well enough to walk without a light, there was a sort of whistling sound ahead. It was *almost* a bird sound, and the first call made me pause but decide it could be a bird who just sounds weird with the hills and all. But a few yards later and the sound happened again and immediately my hair was standing up and I just knew it was time to go home. I texted my husband something like, "There is something/someone whistling like a bird, I'm on my way back." Haven't heard it again. 🤷♀️

1. I can not read perfectly, but something like, switch to... another vehicle. This could be a reference to a government SMS message that was sent on 03/15/2013 during a big snowstorm:
"We help! Do not leave your vehicle! If you run out of fuel, switch to another vehicle!"
2. Should the euro be a specie?
3. I can read only: 7th. testimony... Thi is the "Thou shalt not steal".
The look of all the boards is similar to government advertisements, so all the posters are a kind of reference to the affairs of the government.
This gave me War of the Worlds/Falling Skies vibes. Loved it.
What you said about UFO experts Foost, reminded me of the ridiculous hubris of the paranormal world's biggest piece of shit since Ed Warren - Zak Bagans. He has started introducing himself as "one of the world's leading researchers of the paranormal". Just because he had a telly show and a museum of 'haunted' knick knacks. Spare me.
Now I can only say one thing. This game is just on another level to any other game out there. The creator need an applause. Fooster you’ve done it again and introduced a game that needs a full playthrough as this had me hooked.
The most amazing thing about this game is the sound effect!!! Like literally it gave me goosebumps. like you really need a good headphone 🎧 to listen it 🔥

That "damp" smell. Not sure I do Fooster, is it what one would call a... "moist" smell? Jk, I know what you're talking about haha. Been in my fair share of abandoned buildings and there's a very strong swampy smell to them. Swamp is so swamp just as damp is so damp after all haha
The whole game design is amazing - emersion, sounds, music, and especially graphics. If only the voice acting were present, should have been even amazi'er.

Mostly when I was watching Horror games I get jump scared when the person playing the game gets jump scared , this made me feel scared shitless, excited and amazed the whole time. This has truly been one of the most epic gameplays I have seen and I NEEED MOOOOOREEEE !!!
I've tapped out at 5 mins. I can't bring myself to watch it. I saw her approach the window and I just know whats going to happen. My best friend died in similar circumstances. That was 5 years ago but it never leaves you. This one's probably not for me. 😕

Always remember kids, whenever you find yourself in a spooky semi lit area, make sure everything around you knows exactly where you are by keeping your torch on and waving it around. :) Torches act like anti invisibility cloaks.
