Loved my Xsjados, these look like a professional build of Xsjado mods I saw then. Really excited to see Xsjado live on, bring on Christmas and my first pair of blades in 7 years :D
Dude, same! Just got back into skating and inherited a pair of Rollerblade TRS Morales', and while I'm grateful that I have a pair again, I'm for sure picking up the Shadows for my birthday in November! I had a pair of xsjados years ago but threw them out because of silly reasons.
The buckle at the top is another good idea. I still have the blue Stockwell's from 2010 & I no matter how much I tightenthe the top Velcro strap it's always very flexible. Maybe a proper buckle would give it more support.
Why did mine come without the shock absorber?? I see the note in the description but its just weird to me. Seems like it would greatly benefit from it because I just got mine and have a little bit of movement. Do you guys or anyone else sell the absorber separate?
I’m considering getting the old xsjado 2.0 or the usd vii. I see being able to use my shoes as an advantage of the old Xsjado’s lost on these. Otherwise, why not just put on a traditional skate? Thoughts on this?
The boots in this new skate are still walkable though, so they still have the advantage that you dont need to bring shoes with you when you go skating... except this time you'll be wearing booting instead of shoes when you want to walk
Holy S** mine didn´t come with the shock absorber nor the liner has the second skin tongue. Weird, but I like mine better haha! Great review, love your channel and your shop, keep up the excellent work, you guys rock!
@@LocoSkates haha that figures! Would have been dope too, but that thick tongue on the new Eclipse crossliner is just perfect! Thanks for the quick Reply!
I know everyone will think it´s weird, but I love these stock wheels so much. I compared them to my other Eulogy, Ground control, M1(oldschool) and they are all slower than this one. I know it sounds weird, but they feel like the late COZMO wheels to me. Does anyone know if these wheels or any other powerslide wheel that uses the same urethane is available for purchase? Any info on this @LocoSkates? Thanks in advance!
The sole doesn't seem any thicker than original Xsjado footwraps, but it's a really good point... you don't really need a shoe-sole AND a thick shock absorber.
LocoSkates aesthetically looked like it might be the case but thought you guys would know best after getting your hands on them. Loco product insights are fantastic btw, always really insightful
A 6 would be right for you... but I don't think it'd cause too many issues if you wanted to play it safe and get a 6.5... sometimes people like to round up half a size if they are unsure or between sizes.
Not sure, but they seem scary. Never tried old ones, but would be scared in like 6 monts i dont stay only in boot. Would be great if They have some kind of front where u clip toes in. Just dont look as something safe after some time.
You don't have the USD Shadow 57s, you have the USD Shadow Trimax boot only. Look at the cuff, the less expensive versions do not have a separate cuff with cuff bolts, its all one piece. They should have called this version the "Shadow Street" or something. It confused me too but the cuff is a dead give away.
@@BishopNE1 no thats completely wrong. i ordered the 57's.. 2.0 style cuff, green accents on the padding.... mine did not come with the standard xsjado shock absorber that integrates with the xsjado baseplate. USD decided it wasnt necessary because of the liner. the only ones that have the absorber were the preview models sent to shops
Make me laugh that they rebarnded them but they still using a soul plate with Xsjado engraved in it xD Definitely on my to get list though, my xsjado are on their last legs.

This model makes more sense than the weird trimax version they did.
Stuart Kelly the only difference being the wheels and frame? Ok, idiot.
@@LeekowalskiWalker the cuff is different and it doesnt have a buckle
the trimax one is 1 piece cuff with a strap (also grey soulplate and liner)
Actually, the Trimax modelo is the first Xsjado model, this model i the 2.0 Xsjado model

Does anyone know if a new model is coming out for 2021? The skate is sold out everywhere...😭

LocoSkates that’s not an advantage when the boots look like correctional shoes.
I need to adjust that front buckle forward one hole. How do I do that? Just to give me more slack to work with.

The ones used for this review were the prototypes. They changed a couple of things! :-)
@@LocoSkates haha that figures! Would have been dope too, but that thick tongue on the new Eclipse crossliner is just perfect! Thanks for the quick Reply!

Would other liners work with the skate

Entonces siguen disponibles?
lookst like they still use the old soulplate, it says xsjado on them
I think it might just be that these were a prototype pair. I'd expect the final product not to have the Xsjado branding on them.
LocoSkates the Trimax ones also have a mix of branding, but I’m basing that solely on BackToBlading’s review. Nice video!
@@jeffsawyer Intresting! We don't carry the Trimax version right now
@@LocoSkates I got the fluids last week, can confirm that they're still using the Xsjado Souls.
@@stealth-x2995 it could be they are using the old molds for when they make the plastic
You guys gonna bring in some doop skates trinity 110??
Hey Jason. We've discontinued Doops now!
I like more and more thouse snikers xsjado .Those is half as small as these. Where is an short version ?(
I just love how Shadow sounds so much like Xsjado 😆
"ex-j'ad-oe" is how the guys by me pronounced it, drove me mad.
Is the shock absorber slimmer as the eclipse liner has a thicker sole maybe?

How sick would these be with the same rail system as the aeon 80s .
If im a uk 6 in trainers a 6.5 would be the right size for me wouldnt it?

does the USD shadow soulplate still have xsjado written on it still?
Yes

Always enjoy the Loco first looks. Are you going to do one with the Sola frames?
Yep, coming up... we just need to skate them first. Will try and get to this as soon as we can find the time!
What happened to the original frames?
Mine didn’t come with shock absorbers... I’m confused

Also has these cool liners made by myfit ..also owned by 😂..
Damn good buy good times with the low footwraps. Ill better buy traditional hardboot blades than this if i need to bring with me whole backpack.
Hi Jake
Hi! Lol
the guy has a UA-cam Chanel called back to blading its pretty cool

"These new bottom holes for adjustment"🤦🏾♂️

Nope, fuck it not worth it💁🏾♂️
