Just put the tomatoes in a brown paper bag with a banana peel and in a few weeks they will be ripe and ready to eat. I found out that green tomatoes will ripen if you are patient. I'm in zone 8 SC and we had our first frost 3 weeks earlier that usual. I had a bunch of tomatoes that had not ripened and I tried the brown paper bag/banana peel method and I'm pleased to say, it works. You are not limited to making "fried green tomatoes" with them or green salsas - though you are welcome to.

Thank you. We use moringa pods to make a dish called sambhar. You can also steam it with lentils and spices!

Where in CA do you live? Southern or Nothern? Hyacinth beans can live on for 3-4 years. I live in NorCal, and am able to get Hyacinth harvest from May to November, as the plant would come back to life in March/April, after you cut away all the dead branches, in early March.

My cantalople/melon plant died for some reason. It had formed a mid sized fruit and now all the leaves have dried up. The plant itself is kind of small (Not too many leaves). Is that why its died? Has the melon reached its biggest size?

Sometimes that happens due to lack of regular watering. I hope you are also fertilizing it: ua-cam.com/video/Zfa8E7BjIoo/v-deo.html
