Hope the remake lets you swap between soundtracks like a lot of their older Ys games. Would be really cool to hear this in game
This is one of those pieces of media where you can just tell the people who made it were having so much fun & i adore it thoroughly
Sora no Kiseki trilogy was the peak of the series and I'm glad they're remaking it.
I just watched "Beginner's Guide" to Elden Ring
and this song suddenly came up. Bless you Ymfah!
Agreed!
Me too!!
Although I already knew the game and even the battle theme (sophisticated fight)however I didn't know this version of it
"Good game."
Interesting! Great to see more people being introduced to an awesome remix for an amazing series
@@FireBleba18 Agreed! I hope more people try out this series, it's really something special. A shame the start is kinda stale every arc because it seems to turn a lot of people off. But the story, world, music, and characters are all so wonderful.
This day felt so insane, omg. I can't wait for that Sky FC remake in 2025!
Didn't know there would ve a remake of it. I just hope Falcom actually works on the game's graphics this time, the latest YS, altough aesthetically pleasing, looks dated for today's standards.
Get out pedo
That ship is rapidly approaching her location.
It’s remake time fellas!
Its lazy time! they're really using this oldie instead of remaking the OST.
@@jackjohnson8305if that’s the case, you know what they say “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

This song is actually incredible. The full build up from start to finish is amazing. A little disappointed this version is not actually in the game.
You can use them on the pc version. My first playthrough of TiTS was with musics like this as a mod, and god, I had such a blast. I've been playing all Trails games (now at Cold Steel 3), and TiTS might still be my favorite experience in the whole series and the musics helped.

I felt like my legs break while playing Dark Souls 3 listening to this.
i hope this will be used in the remake so badly
Estelle dishing out a generous helping of her signature ULTRAVIOLENCE to poor, injured Joshua on Switch 😂😂😂😂😂
This is by far the best version of the song.
Which is why I replaced the original song file of the game with the Zanmai version, for witch I edited the metadata in Audacity in order to loop it properly, because it's so fucking amazing that it's not really a bad fit with the rest of the OST. I did the same with the Zanmai version of Silver Will -Gin no Ishi-, and it might be even more appropriate and epic in context.
Niiiice. This song has become a permanent part of my jogging playlist. It's so good! I'm more partial to the Gin no Ishi, Kin no Tsubasa version, though. Falcom Sound Team has a ridiculous amount of amazing tracks!

I seriously love the original "Sophisticated Fight" but this versions is BEAUTIFUL. I'm so glad I found the Kiseki series, and Falcom at the same time. I've been loving all the games I played: Kiseki, Ys, Xanadu, Zwei...
Omg i fanboy'd out when I heard this in Ymfah's video. A criminally overlooked series IMO, I'd love if these games got the same attention as the Final Fantasy games.

Believe me or not, i honestly thought this song was a kind of Megaman soundtrack remaster, mostly bc of the organ and guitars lol
So many reasons people love this song. For me it was a theme used for a character in a dumb tabletop game I watched a few years back. A final strike delivered by a friend just to show they have nothing to worry about. He didn't have to carry the weight and worry alone. Others were strong enough to protect the world. Bliss Ocean!
Glad to see I'm not the only one here because of everybody's Bestest of friends Rick Shades

This arrangement sounds how this track would likely sound if it was in a more modern Falcom game.
I hope that someday in a Trails game we have a chapter where we return to Liberl, and they use an arrangement like this for that chapter's battle theme as a throwback. That'd be incredibly badass!
Best we got is a remake!
@@HealingVoice39 Yeah it'll be nice if this version shows up somewhere. I think it's too hype to match the general tone of the game as the main battle theme though. But if the battle theme changes to this during certain sequences of Sky 1st, I think that'd be great!
@@jmporkbob Seems like it's in the remake going off the latest trailer.
@@staticshock4239 Yeah I hope it is. But it is a bit too hype to use for the entire game, when the original gave a laid back vibe that really fit the game. If they do use it, I hope it's only for hype segments.

Absolutely love Kamikura's fusion arrangements, the guitars and sax sound impeccable here. The harmonies are also outstanding.
not gonna lie, alpharad makes me want to play this game because of his video
well then get ready to be a shut in neet because you're going to have to play through 9 total games with more on the way and each of them being about 50 to 100+ hours long to get the full story.
Roy Our Boy it's in my top 10 list, you should definitely play it
you really should, to me the trails in the sky games are the best games there is to this very day. idk about the 9 games, there are multiple games from the same universe. trails in the sky and trails of cold steel there is also another game that i dont know the name of thats in the same universe but still gotta say trails in the sky is the best one by a landslide. 1 playthrough of 1 of the 3part games gives you about 50-70 or maybe even more worth of gameplay, and all 3 games are that long. its long, its amazing, you should play it. just know that the story might get slow at times while it is really slow in the start but it goes away pretty fast
I'm just going to quickly jump in and clear this up what I meant by 9 games are the first game which was split into 3 parts the 2 crossbell games and the cold steel games where cold steel 3 was split into 2 parts due to how big it was which technically makes it 9 games in total since 3+2+4 = 9. So yeah just wanted to quickly throw that in and explain myself just in case I confused anybody.

I'm so glad I found out about falcom. After playing the xeno series I just wanted more great jrpgs and music and I finally find what I need.
There's a fun fact, Tetsuya Takahashi creator of the Xeno series and founder of Monolith Soft was a former Falcom employee.
@@ztune3945 I remember that from watching a video about monolith soft. I find that very interesting theres that connection.
Why does it really fit in a warriors game?
Honestly I would love to see a Trails warriors game in the style of Hyrule Warriors that would be Honestly really fun
Make it closer to Ys
If Falcom went the way of Persona 5 Strikers, and implemented the things that made Trails games unique, but in Warriors/Musuo form, it would be INCREDIBLE. There are PLENTY of compatible game mechanics that would fit a Warriors/Musuo game like a glove.
@OptimalTT oh my god yes that would be fantastic and probably would be my fav Musou game ever
@@Phantom_Gabriel Truly, it would. Some mechanics that come to mind:
Link attacks/linking: In the Cold Steel games, Link attacks can be done when attacking a weapon-type weakness, or when you land a critical, or when you attack broken enemies while linked to another character. But you only know the weakness if you guess it right, or use a analyze art/item/craft. If we're going by Persona 5 strikers logic, perhaps casting an art/using an item/craft can "pause" combat, allowing you to aim it. So imagine someone casting "Analyze", then an AoE appears showing all the strengths and weaknesses of enemies caught in its range upon casting(which can be referenced later during said tactical pause). You find out most of them are weak to strike attacks, so you switch control to Juna, have her enter striker mode, and unleash a craft that hits them, allowing someone linked to her(say it's Kurt) to follow up with an attack that hits all affected enemies, and, for good measure, you can have Kurt unlease his S Craft and end the fight then and there. This can build up BP, which can be used to bestow passive bonuses that bring out the most of the real time action, like increasing movement speed, increasing the range of your normal attacks(which can accelerate BP/CP build up) and more, which you can use against the next group of enemies.
That's just ONE way to implement Trails mechanics too. It's STUPIDLY compatible, all in all.
God, now I REALLY want this to be a thing.
@@optimaltt6070 Well the newest game Kuro no Kiseki seems to be going sorta that way if you haven't seen. Basic attacks seem to be more Ys VIII and IX like, and then you switch to a turn based mode if you want to pull off arts or crafts. Though for that entry you can also just go full turn based....but I imagine if the real time combat does well, they will probably gut more and more of the turn based stuff and probably shift more to a ff7 remake style with ATB slowdown being implemented for arts and crafts.
We are so back in the skies.
Sky Remake is here let's goooooo!!

HOLY SHIT THIS IS PERFECTION. Falcom music truly is goated
Theme of pure hype and epic comeback
Man, this song bangs so hard. I still like the original a bit more, but that might be more because I think it fits the tone of the game more. In a vacuum, this song might beat it out.
I just started playing the trails in the sky series after playing trails of cold steel 1-3 while waiting for the switch version of 4, and I went in expecting the writing and
characters to be not as good or possibly cringy compared to cold steel but boy was I wrong. I also love all the witty messages left in every previously opened chest, it's charming and something that you could easily go the whole game without knowing. The music is different but it's still just as amazing.
I mean Sky came before Cold Steel
As someone that is following the series in release order, I feel that although the worldbuilding has only gotten more complex and interesting, the characters and writing have taken a little bit of a downgrade compared to the first 5 games.
From what I've seen I think I know what you mean. It's cool to hear from another perspective because I haven't explored the community at all
I've been playing all Trails games in release order, and I'm having trouble keeping my interest on Cold Steel 3. Definitely the least good game thus far. I feel that it kinda goes downhill with this series. TiTS is still my favorite, followed by Zero. I hope the end of CS3 and CS4 get better.
the only thing i hate in trail games is that after 5 games (sky and zero/azure) every boss fight that isn't a monster, is a struggle for your party, you barely win any battle, and something that almost made me drop the series is that in the very first game you never catch/aprehend any of the "villains" unless they are some random NPC for sidequests, and this becomes worse in Zero/Azure because you play as cops and every important battle end with the cast on their knees gasping for breath. I really hope this actually changes in cold steel because i've never seen a more imcompetent cast of "heroes" in any JRPG. (Luke from tales of the abyss was the last dumbest MF i had to suffer through and that was like 18 years ago).
Yo I got hype when alphrad did this. I though nobody else knew of this lmao
I’ve known about this song for years because of Alpharad and I’m only now learning that it’s from trails of the sky, A game from a series I’ve been looking to get into as of recent.
At this point I should probably believe in fate or predestination or something because the amount of coincidences like this that have happened to me is unbelievable
Same thing just happened to to me when I started the first one yesterday. There was a spark when immediately realizing that the battle theme evolves into this at some point
