I love making the party uncomfortable because a metallic dragon has put them on notice. A silver dragon doesn't like how closely they come to being nothing but barbaric raiders or an adamant dragon doesn't like they've slayed dragons, even though it's only been evil chromatic dragons. It's really fun when they stop and have to analyze if they've become baddies because a good dragon has shown displeasure with them.
It's not the dragons that are too squishy in 5th edition, it's the characters that are way too powerful, even at low levels. I remember when I started playing in 1985, dragons WERE dangerous, so what happened since then? D&D is now some kind of superhero game in a vaguely renaissance/victorian world with DEI all over it. It's OK if you like that kind of atmosphere, but I miss the Conan-esque warrior fighting the most terrifying red dragon to me, the Elmore one from the red box. And I hate baby monsters. 😆 Great video, thanks. 👍
Nice video, as always. Inn fighting was released indeed, have it here.

Thanks for watching!
3.5 Draconomicon is freakin' awesome.
Agreed. 3.5e scratches my D&D itch like no other edition does.
It's still one of my all time favourite books.
