I'm still a good few months away from my first camper and was a bit wary of joining any of the FB groups before getting one, but i did. I have had extremely positive experiences from both, having asked a few questions, others have got back with positive answers very quickly. I recently asked a question on a Bilbo's group, as that's where I'm leaning to to purchase a van, about microwave v grill, and the answers came flooding in very quickly indeed. It's great that for once we cab see social media being a plus, not a negative.
Just got back from CamperJam and just wanted to say you are 100% correct. The camper community is amazing. Love how it brings together people from all walks of life. Met some amazing people over the weekend. Great music, good food and plenty of cold beers whilst meeting new friends and enjoying time with the family. It really doesn't get any better than that.
I love the vw wave, I’ve just gone from a vw t6 to a crafter! I hope the transporter crew still give us a wave 👋. Love your channel keep up the good work.
Definitely one of the better ones, last night the owner of another group said my voice got on her nerves. I don’t particularly mind, everyone can have an opinion, but to be the owner of a group and be negative like that, I thought wasn’t a good look
Hi another good video, I have Ford Transit Custom. I watch because your watchable have good advice good reviews. I don’t need to have a VW. Just for info there are groups for transit campers also as you would expect. Stay safe
The biggest schism seems to me to be between motorhome enthusiasts and campervan aficionados. The former are forever banging on about the lack of bogs and showers. I wish they'd stick to their own channels.
Obviously you're a VW user. As all your examples are pictures of vw Other brands do exist I have a Renault trafic 2019 lwb premier edition. Which is a great van Please realise there are other brands available
I think you are totally missing the point. Sorry but I’m talking about the VW community. I haven’t noticed a large “scene”’for Renault or a plethora of aftermarket parts, help and advice. However, spoke about other brands several times before, including in my video last week. I’m also coincidentally discussing a Renault in the next month. Several Ford’s are also going to be coming up in other videos, along with some Hondas, Nissans etc. VW feature so prominently due to the far greater following than any other brand, the history, the community as mentioned. It’s doesn’t really what people drive, it’s about the lifestyle and whatever we drive, we can all enjoy it. Some would argue why a VW, why a Renault, you should talk about Tents 😀

@@robertcook2572 🤣 They are different vehicles. Wouldn’t fancy daily driving a motorhome for work, pleasure, shopping etc
So true Steve. Glad you’re doing so well. 😊👍
Any advice on what sort of Dub i should be looking out for in the market come September so we can start exploring and enjoying life out on the road?
