Hey DC I'm thinking about getting the pioneer setup for my new Felt, is there a GPS screen that you can view with this head unit? I know it collects GPS but just didn't know if you can use it for routes/maps like the Garmin's.

So if you don't have a speed sensor, as I see Pioneer offer a package with this monitor, you can't use the built in GPS to establish speed and distance? And do you know it if can be paired with lets say a Cateye or other brand sensor? I really trying to learn more before investing in particular brand.

Drew Labat Yes, by default it would use GPS (outside anyway). It'll pair with any brand ANT+ sensors. I don't believe Cateye currently sells any ANT+ sensors (they just do their own proprietary thing).

+roborovski008 this is super late, but if you start by the stem, wrap towards the stem once and then out from there, you shouldnt have any unraveling issues untill the tape gets pretty worn out. while i use white tape, so ill change it every 6 months of riding basically
