Is it just me who can kinda hear Tom sounding like DMX after he says “ Venom’s like a dog…”? The way he plays with his voice and the cadence reminds me of X.
Absolutely. Got to hand it to T tho. Approached that pile as serious and committed as any major league project. Always astonishing how a Script gets to the shooting stage and nothing better was demanded. Many rewrites for sure and still- hope he at least financed Taboo 2 with it if nec. Needs must.
I just don't understand how they dropped the ball so badly with Carnage -- that could have been an award-nominated role for Harrelson if done correctly and yet it seemed to be little more than a wet fart. Despite that, you're right that Hardy approached this trilogy like his life depended on it -- as if he was a fresh fish out of water and absolutely needed to put 110% into the role. I suppose I can't knock him for the dedication because that is literally what carried these movies, but man... you're so right about the poor script quality.
I have been one who can pull an answer out of my sit-upon and make it sound legit, this seems like 💯 percent legit. He ga e his voices actual thought and care to ensure that it comes across the way HE wants it. Both voices are so distinct and knows how to slip in and out of them. This is a large reason why voice actors can be called ACTORS, care and thought. In my book, this man IS a voice actor in every sense. Bravo, Tom
I'm way more into his explanation of how his Venom performance takes shape than the movie itself. Fantastic actor, absolutely dogshit movies (Venom franchise).
@@Mindfuck36 Not really -- the dynamic of the characters was cool, and Tom's acting was absolutely top notch but the plot and pacing was all over the place.
@@Billy-bc8pk not quite -- i'm not saying its a well made movie i'm saying it has something special. it's fun and and feels like a throwback to comic book movies before the MCU, unburdened by the safe yet stale template which all of those movies share
@@idontevenlikemoney Yes I think you're right, the interviewer did ask some entrancing and engrossing questions that were both captivating and prepossessing Not to mention the whole interview itself was enthralling and enchanting, some would say stimulating and even thought provoking 😳
It’s too bad Venom has turned into a joke. It’s very close to what Marvel did with The Hulk which was turning him into a weak comical side character who is far from his origins in the comics.
I think the Venom movies are so so bad its amazing to me the length to which a studio would go to produce such a load of garbage That being said - Tom Hardy is amazing in them He is the soul possible reason ghat I would ever endure a second watch of that excrement
This was one hell of an intellectual answer.
Fam….u ain’t Neva lie. Which is crazy cuz when I expect those types of answers I get the opposite 😭and vice versa
He's actually put a lot of thought into this. No wonder he's so good at both characters.
Damn, and that's why Tom Hardy is so damn respected in the industry
That..was..a fantastic answer! Wow
Tom Hardy is such an amazing actor and mind
Wow, he broke that shit down.
Holy damn, it takes a lot to make Andy Serkis of all people to look like he's learning something from you in regards to voice acting.
I love how he thinks of these character voices in a sense of almost Synesthesia, the “smells” and “radial” natures and visual elements he speaks of.
I love Tom Hardy so much! His work is exceptional
What an amazing answer
I’d love to go for a pint with these lads
I love that he's a hip hop head 🗣️🗣️🗣️ 🎤🎤🎤 0:45
He actually Raps

0:30 😢😢😢
That was an A Class response 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽💯😆love it!
Andy is in awe!
Totally!
Hearing the venom voice makes the Bane voice sound 1 hundred trillion times better.
bro said BOMBASTIC
I was born into darkness, moulded by it, I did not see the light until I was a man then it was blinding
You alright dude
@@MattJackson-s4z😂😂😂😂
Best line ever …we are already initiated
That fight was epic!!
@@MattJackson-s4z Quote from the movie.
Like I needed another reason to like Tom Hardy!!
Love how deeply he goes into it. As an aspiring voice actor it means a lot seeing how much thought goes into the voice alone.
Fascinating-what a creative and thoughtful brain he has. Can’t wait to see the new movie
Man is a genius. Love him honing his craft
this is fucking awesome lmaooo
1:48 why does he sound Jamaican when he says "But I don't think" 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Warriors will always be my top Tom movie . But all the others are great also
He mentioned a hip hop goat, who most people don’t talk about… Redman 🙌🏾

Tom is a Hip-Hop head!!!!
Busta Rhymes is his favorite rapper.

That is talent.
It looked like Tom had no arm for a good minute
Such a sophisticated answer with a nice knod to the hip-hop community
that was explained at like a professor level of words tom
Ton Hardy should also be in the MCU just like Ryan Reynolds. He’s great as Venom.
WE ARE VENOM!!!
The Busta Rhymes reference was so on point. Venom should rap in a scene. Lol
I swear I never knew he played Bane that’s very impressive for him to play those legendary characters
There are so many words Tom uses I have to write down to get the definition 😂
"Or perhaps he wondering why someone will shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane."
To confuse the autopsy results, of course.
Why does Tom hardy sound like mma guru doing an impression of Isreal adesanya + dricus
His accent is all over the place
Alfie Solomons is perhaps the greatest supporting character in any crime series ever.
"I smell roasting Irishmen."
Now I can only hear Venom as DMX 🤣🤣🤣
Tom Hardy doesn't get enough credit for his acting chops and his intelligence
I always thought his bane voice sounded like sean connery after a trip to the dentist's office, still high on the gas
Tom Hardy was Bane?!? Holy shit. Didn’t know that.
Definitely hear the Busta Rhymes influence
Not me checking the dictionary to understand what he is saying 😂😂
I'm sorry when he does that Venom voice he sounds like DMX!
Google got its share from me after the beginning of that answer.
Tom Hardy bane: 2012 😊
Tom Hardy venom: 2018 ❤
Bustarhymes redman methodman my guy is a goat love Tom lawless is my fav of his

I need a dictionary!
I think Tom Hardy read a thesaurus that day 😬😬
Nah someone just finally asked him an interesting question for once.

The Eddy voice kind of ruined the movie for me tbh
