I was walking home from school to my old house- it was summer and i saw alot of flowers in front of a ladies front garden- i was with my older brother
This doctor is on another level, without any assistance or tools such microscope, he managed to get it out, salute.
i had the same case with the same insect in my ear several years back. it was a painful experience... and everytime the insect move and hit my eardrum, i can't help but throw my head to the opposite side because it felt like a baseball hall of famer just took a swing on to my head. it was in the middle of the night but i remember something my late grandma told me.. so i woke my pa in a panicky manner, handed him my cigarette and asked him to light one and puff a couple of rounds into my ear. he doesn't smoke so he coughed a lot, but really thankful to him after 15 secs or so the insect came out butt first (i guess because it didn't have enough space to turn around). hoooh what a relief!!

Something similar happened to me. An ant crawled inside my ear while I was sleeping. it was so painful (and extremely loud), i woke up screaming. My mother poured baby oil in it and drowned the ant. It happened for only 2 to 3 minutes but it was hell. If it was as big as a cockroach I probably won't be able to move from the pain. I feel for this man.
I've also had an ant in my ear! I was at the pool and when I was getting out I put my hand on a fire ant and reflexively retreated my hand which flung it INTO MY EAR. I heard it buzzing and buzzing and my mom thought it was a bee. She managed to get it out harmlessly.
SAME IT WAS LOUD AND PAINFUL AND I WOKE UP AND I HEARD LIKE A CREEPY CRAWLING AND MY MOM FOUND THE ANT WAS ALREADY ON THE OUTER PART OF MY EAR AND SHE FOUND IT DED.

@@ebdsbdbhdjf6453 you can purchase a small long device that has got a camera at the end of it specifically to be used for ear and nose inspection. I think there have been some videos like that circling in UA-cam. I think the name is ear microscope or earscope so you can do the initial inspection at your own house. I purchased 1 and been using it to check if the fungal infection in both of my ears have returned. In fact, I've extracted the fungi on my own with the help of that earscope and plenty wash of hydrogen peroxide. They healed but once it's humid, they're back again😩😩.

I had a spider living in my ear canal for nearly a week. It was the most horrifying experience I've ever dealt with. It entered when I was getting a shower and I naturally thought I had gotten "water in my ear". I work in construction, every time I ran my miter saw this thing moved around on my ear drum. If sounded like somebody had a microphone up full blast with an amplifier and was rubbing it over their beard. When it moved, it would sound like somebody threw a handful of marbles down a school hallway. I've never been the same since

I'm a doctor's son, I've witness couple of case like this, both cockroches! They never crawl reverse, all my father can do is snip to kill the insect, he used a surgical scissors, drown with glycol or somekind of oil, then take insect parts piece by piece, So guys, once in while fumigate your room, The other patient's eardrum got damage because he tried to poke with sharp thing

Great video! I'm a retired scrub nurse who was assigned to E.N.T. cases (Ear, Nose and Throat) frequently. You would not believe some of the things we had to prize out of kids' ears! Moths were common. Flies were somewhat common. Food, like corn kernels where the kids stuck them in there themselves, and all kinds of other foods. But the bugs were the worst and the best - worst because it was gross and best because it was really gross! But I have to tell you this: docs and nurses LOVE doing this! It's so satisfying. I know, I know, we are a group of sick people who like this kind of thing and especially watching these satisfying videos. LOL!
🌿🌹 God Bless the Doctors and Nurses who do these things that give them satisfaction that someone gets relief from much pain and discomfort
Some of us I guess would like pulling something like that out. It mustn't be that uncommon after all . But a big thanks to all the doctors and medical assistants in all fields of treatments to cure us. You guys are priceless

Lia OMG me too. Both my mom and I have this irrational fear that bugs will get in our ears. I can’t monitor my ears while I’m unconscious, I even take ear plugs camping or whenever I might not have access to a charger/electricity to use my ear buds or AirPods.
Use something to cover ur mouth too so bugs don't get in ur mouth

The worst pain I’ve felt even worse then when I got ran over by a car and broke 16 bones on my right side of my body. A small single drop of gasoline dripped into my ear while working under a car and I’ve never felt any pain to compare that with. Tip: don’t get gas in your ear, the tiniest bit will make the toughest cry like a baby.
Oh, and great job to the doctor. I was literally covering my face and peeking through my fingers when she was digging for it.🥺. Now I’m going to go watch something to make me feel manly again because this made me feel like a little b****.

If you ever have a living bug in your ear like this,
-Sit down (you're about to lose your balance)
- Pour rubbing alcohol in your ear
The rubbing alcohol will kill the bug almost instantly. Once it's dead, you can get help removing it properly.

It's gross, but the longer the bug is alive, the bigger the chance it can cause damage scratching (and possibly biting) the inside of your ear.
Worst I've ever had was a flea, and it felt and sounded massive in there 😨

@Interesting Rubbing alcohol can have some bad effects, but if its a large insect scratching or biting inside your ear, you really don't want to wait for it to suffocate in water. The alcohol will actually kill it like bug spray.
My mom had to use this on my dad some time ago and, since he wanted to go to quick care/the er to get the bug removed, they got confirmation from some medical professionals that it was the right thing to do.
For something like a flea or earwig though, absolutely use water instead.

I recently had my first personal encounter with ear blockage. Went to my family doctor and she tried irrigating it six times to no avail. Had to to see an ENT and he ended up using some more sophisticated gadgets to clear the ear. He said it was dead skin. I don't know how that could have built up like that but there you go. In retrospect, I'm glad it wasn't a creature.
