No technology helps archers be more accurate in their aim. All they have to aim it a single aiming point, they still have to aim themselves just like always. The lightness of a bowsight is insignificant. Archers deliberately add stabilizer weights to their bows, heavier is an advantage, not lightness. There is nothing "accurate" about a sight, they are just consistent, which is not difficult to do. There has been no significant change in Olympic archery equipment for over 20 years. Everyone uses virtually the same equipment due to sponsorships, no one is getting a huge technological advantage.
Pathetic video. Script writer didn't have the faintest idea what he was writing about. Most of the it is untrue and the terminology is wrong in many cases. Dreadful
1:40 strings also use high tech materials such as spectra and dyneema ( 652 FF, 8125).

'And which one of you was a marksman at ten ?' - Ned Stark
Archery also reappeared in the 1920 Olympics.
There is nothing "3-D" about the sights, it's just one pin with mechanisms to adjust it.
