Despite being the villain, part of me had been rooting for Jobin when he got his hands on the New Rokakaka. Yes, he was against Josuke, but in contrast with the Rock Humans' sociopathic motives of controlling society, Jobin just wanted his family's happiness to never end and for Tsurugi to live. Much like Josuke was fighting for Holly to live. And even as a villain, he's vulnerable and is scared and this shows when Kaato has to give him that pep talk about fighting for his family, before the [Wonder of U] arc. And I couldn't hate him, as he was hurting from this three-way war tremendously. And I have to agree on the "quiet strength" part of his characterization. Fantastic video! However, I do feel like you skipped out on digging deeper on the musical influence of his character in regards to the song Speed King itself. Like Highway Star, it is a fast-paced song that eventually ends in a violent crash. In general, the deaths in Part 8 are really it's most major flaw and if they'd been better written to feel like an actual loss rather than "lmao guess he's dead now on to the next plot development" I don't think JoJolion would've left as sour of a taste in peoples mouths as it has. Hell, solidifying Jobin as dead probably would've made people actually believe Tooru was the main villain a bit more instead of a full year being like "yeah there's probably like 30 or 40 chapters left" and then "whoops it's ending in 2"
Don't forget Hermes getting partially eaten alive, or characters who get shot in the head, even multiple times
I mean he joshu literally confirms that he's dead just two chapters later and Araki confirms it as well in volume 24 summary that wou instantly killed Jobin. People were just in denial so idk why you're saying it as if it took such a long time
HOW MANY DAMNS TIMES METI OBANAI IGURO FOR THE LOVE OF GOTH THIGHS
Your great my guy
I'm sad he won't be able to meet his second child😞 But he'll be watching over them though
If he were the main villain, I would proudly put him on top of my favourite JoJo main villains list. Even above the beloved 23rd President.
The only thing I don't like about Speed King is its colour. Most other Stands are flamboyantly coloured, but then you get to Speed King and it's just like _R E D._ Like, yes, I get that it could imply that the Stand is so hot that it glows, but it has no differing tones/shades in its colour. You could literally pick any red/orange crayon from a pack and perfectly colour Speed King in just a few strokes.
Blame shueisha for their retarded colour schemes
Color Jojolion fucking sucks
I miss joubin
Waiting for the Glory of Joshu Higashikata.
Nonexistent
Finally my boy gets some love
I’m a simple man, I see jojo content, I click
Jobin gang
My favorite character :)
No More Heroes theme on the day NMH3 comes out...
Surely that's just a coincidence
I just love him in general
METI.... You are using No More Heroes music on today of all days??? I knew you had good taste but god damn you keep on surprising me. RANCE?? NMH??? Unbelievable.
It reminds me of Esidsi. You know injecting boiling blood, Speed King heats up others bodies.
