UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
It worked. Runs perfect. Laid it on it's side with fuel tank up, pulled 3 times, set it up right just like you said and money, started right up. True wisdom! Thank you! @@mtyler5570

Dude you are super super super awesome can’t believe the amount of work I put in to get mine started for this simple hack to work flawlessly, wow wow wow, I hope your life brings you nothing but happiness and joy thank you
I have the same problem. The engine is very cheaply made. The butterfly valve and most carb parts are plastic. The outlet pipe from the carb to the cylinder head is two plastic hoses that are just loosely pushed together. I am amazed that it could possibly work at all. The fact that it has no choke probably wasn't to make it easier to operate. I was to make it more simple and cheaper. This engine should be an embarrassment to Briggs and Stratton.
Ended up having the same issue not using mine over the summer change the spark plug check the carburetor did all the same things you did couldn't get it going I ended up turning it completely on its side with the carburetor up gave it a few pulls and eventually it started and ran perfectly I think it's something to do with the fuel not getting into the carburetor after sitting a long time
Comment of the year! Worked on it for hours and nothing. Laid it on its side second pull started right up. Oh yeah and craftsmen can kiss my ass what a piece of junk
@G6Wings I changed fuel, cleaned spark plug, I took carb off but I can't get it apart to get small valve cleaned. When using spray start it fires off 2 for seconds. So I know it's just not getting gas. I think the video you need to do is the carb removal and cleaning. Oh yea I tried starting on its side as well
Exact same issue. Same troubleshooting. After I cleaned the carb and replaced the spark plug, it started right up. A month later, once again it won’t start - but this time, I noticed that when I try and start it, the air intake (visible when I remove the filter) starts to fill up with fuel. It looks to me like it’s being flooded. I think when I re-assembled it, I might have either messed up the butterfly valve or incorrectly attached the wire arms that control the readystart mechanism (which I don’t totally understand, but I suspect “automatically” attempts to prime the engine with fuel when trying to start. If the control arms aren’t correctly aligned, I’m wondering if when it attempts to prime, too much fuel is being let into the carburetor). Now I can’t find any pictures of what the arms are supposed to look like, so I’m sort of stuck.
If you emptied the gas (get rid of ethanol for all small engines!)…. I would consider taking it all apart again - clean it really good - use brand new straight 87 octane NO ETHANOL’…. and try it again. After that - it’s time for a pro.

You can get away with ethanol fuel in a lawn mower and leave it in there but a power washer or a snowblower absolutely not. If you use ethanol fuel you had better drain it before storage. There is so much ethanol in fuel now not even fuel stabilizer will save you.
First pulls we’re with the switched turned off - not necessarily on purpose - but that actually does seem to help “load” the fuel system - so then when you turn it on and pull it again - it tends to pop off! Again - I think in that video - I did not do that on purpose - it was just the way it happened.
Well, that's my problem, I will clean my carb I did everything but that only a year old, I used it last year but put it away with fuel in it. Ethanol is a pain in the ASS! Lol Thanks

Turn it to its side and pull a few times it will start right up
This just worked for me. Thanks. Never mind it died as soon a I stood it up an now it won’t start.

50 pulls, no start. Turned it on it's side as you suggested, carb up. Pulled the rope a few times. Started right up and runs great. THX!!!

This video was helpful to me out of all of the other ones I watched. Thank you!
Only one problem here...my manual says NEVER run the pump without water running through it or it voids the warranty.
Yeah thats right, but a few seconds of running isn't going to hurt it.

Nice - Thanks for the info!!
Perfect. This was it for me. Thank You.

did you use no alcohol fuel? if so, where do you find that??
Same problem I have with mine. Never buy another Briggs and Stratton engine

use premier gas and the problem will not come back. I also use sea foam in units that set up a lot.loke chain saw, pressure and poll saws.
What tool did you use to remove the bowl from the carburator?
I gently pried mine apart after removing the screws. but I bet you figured it out by now.
Did this and it started great right away. Let it run for about 1 minute shut it off and it didn’t start again. Any ideas?

No help reallly

GET TO THE POINT
Good vid had same small grey specs thanks
well, your guess is as good as any i suppose

I put mine on it’s side, tapped the bottom of the carburetor a few times, stood it back up and it started right up.
I see the you gave it three pull and seemed to hit the on/off switch before pulling it again. What did you do there?

Dealing with the same thing, same gas you used. Used the machine two times and won't start the day I have time to use it. Grr

You talk to much... get to the point
Calm down just watch and listen
Bro 2 mins
You've made one idiotic short video on UA-cam and you're criticizing someone else's video. Get a life!
Having the same issue and I put 100% gas in it.
What if it won't spray
