The snow serpents were pretty nifty for cold weather warfare scenarios if you took a couple of 1984 G.I. Joe Bivouac sets, spray painted them white, did NOT add decals, and placed them in strategic positions around some repainted 1988 COBRA Adder vehicles that are poised to strike at key points around the globe, armed with Destro's new "Photon Disintegrator" Warheads.
The Crimson Guard is more of a police force than a military unit, in that they'd guard every corridor of COBRA installations, ever watchful for signs for assassination attempts on COBRA leadership.
But personally, my 25 cents on favorite characters would have to go to Flint (Special Forces), Dusty (Desert Ops.), Footloose (Infantry), and Frostbite (Cold Weather Warfare), although I don't know if the last one counts since he was a pack-in with the Snow Cat vehicle (which, in my opinion, could have done WITHOUT those ski-mounted torpedoes).

I used Dusty in nearly every adventure as a kid, but that Snow Serpent had amazing detail that I loved as well. Airtight happens to be one of my favorite Joes of all time though. Too bad he was so underused! Thanks for the memories in this video!

I hated Alpine as a kid. As an adult, I enjoy the Bazooka/Alpine/Quick-kick friendship teamups. Not top 10, but I like him.
Yeah, media appearances can have a big effect on which characters people like.
I really thought Shipwreck would be higher; not above Snake Eyes v.2, but closer than 7.
Yeah, it's a tough thing to predict. Some people vote based just on the toy and others based on other factors like who they liked in the cartoon. It's a great year all the way around.
Yeah, the twins are probably my favorite Cobra, but I have to admit that’s mainly from the cartoon. Mine (and the bulk of my collection) were stollen when I was in the 2nd grade.
It’s cool to see that some else used floss in same way I did! My parents were always telling me to stop taking their dental floss
Ha ha, floss was the only string I could find at the campus store in college when I was animating my stop motion series.
My grandfather and stepfather were amateur fishermen, so I always had spare fishing line to hang and fly toys and models and it’s perfect for it.
@@joshua2814 In middle school, when we were done playing with toys, my buddy and I hung his Tomahawk Helicopter from his ceiling with fishing line.
yeah they lost me with those twins, but i was getting too old for it by then anyway - a lot of these were pretty cool though, i should have stuck it out for one more year
85 and 86 were good years.
What great choices I really enjoyed this.. I was glad to see Snow Serpent and happy to see CG I though oh come on they gotta have CG on that list and there he is at number 2...One guy that would've been nice to get a mention is the often overlooked but awesome...Lampreys 👍😁
