Nicely done. Those level controls are useful, but also a bit of a pain when integrating the amp with a preamp and I agree about turning them up if they don’t track well. I’m restoring an MC 2105 now and on one of the level pots the resistance track practically disintegrated when I added a small amount of MG Chemical control cleaner. Ended up replacing both pots. At any rate, my first video in the restoration series is up now if you’re interested. A little bit of fun background on the company is discussed as well. nice vid....ive found 1 of these 4 sale here in central or....4 aprox. $550.00....is this a resnable price?how many watts does this amp. have?i have a 90-s nad lucas film certf. 150 watt amp....will this sound any better?
Sorry for the late reply. You can check the service manual for your specific version to be sure but on all 2505 that I have seen they used the 132-070, same as 2105 and 2300.
These controls are simply attenuators that reduced the level of the input signal coming from the RCA jacks. No risk of damage from having them all the way up.
Sorry, I did not document the conversion. If my memory serves me correctly everything just rotated one position. If you draw out the current connections with reference to the old glass and write down the wire colors you should be able to desolder the original connections and map to the new glass. Its definitely worth doing especially if you are thinking about selling the piece in the future to avoid confusion.

Can you damage the amp playing long term with the L & R gain all the way up like that?

I have the same problem vmeter switch offset with new glass. What is the right connection scheme? Have you a pictures?
