Thank you. I feel it is toxic and yet helpful. Personally I think of it like “I do my best to add to the space, “ then accept that the world mostly values crap, so if I’m not loved as much as others it must mean I am posting stuff of higher quality that the average person can’t deal with. I then have decided to pull away from content creating because I figured out it was a way for me to 1. Avoid my real life responsibilities and growth and 2. A way to stim. Since pulling back I’ve been able to grow more and be more present and helpful to my family. My hobby became a side job and a hustle then a career when oppositely I started out promoting being a homemaker, homeschooling mom and present wife. 😢 Looking for online validation was not great for me personally. The apps require more and more of us in order to win and be relevant that it feels like I’m selling my soul.
❤ thank you for posting this video authentically and for asking a good question. 😊

Okay Allie; I was just in your merch store, and on the "Nurodiverse and Thriving" page I see as part of your descriptor "groovy vibe". Now, as one who grew up in the 60s/70s, my jaw hit the floor. I knew I felt a groovy vibe connection! It's thus been decided - you have to stay!

you are a lucid person... i totally get you... your hesitation and sorta anguish about being here. whatever you decide, chose what takes better care of you. you definetly are making the impact. it reached me in brazil hahaha. i'd say vlogs like this are kinda niche in youtube... and i love it. it feels close, humane. i think of doing it myself, being autistic and also inclined to activism hehe (like you said in other video). but i ramble on the same issues. thats why i think you are briliant bringing this, like sharing your own inner thoughts about this. i think autistic minds tend to follow your thoughts and understand your frustrations very well. try watching this: (i will post in a next comment)

maybe his insights on unmasking can definetly contribute (especially the 3rd step)... maybe you already 'been there hear that'... :)

Please don't stop, Allie! I've been a subscriber for quite some time now, and I look forward to seeing your videos. I see your videos as more of a chat, and not a presentation. Your warm laid back style is as refreshing as your smile. And I prefer unedited, as I see it as more raw and genuine - not polished and slick. You are interesting and informative with just a bit of quirkiness, which adds to your zeal and appeal. There is no substitute or replacement for "Autistic Allie", and I look forward to our next chat (as I'm sure 1.53k other subscribers do too).
