You might want to check the manual, but I believe on the "Xtool online" channel showing one of the products in use, when it came to selecting the country, he said to select where it was sold or being used instead of where it was manufactured. So, for your Lexus I believe he said to select North America and not Japan.
Hey There, right now its on sale on Amazon for 260, so for that price you are not going to get a bi-directional scanner. This scanner will do a bunch of resets (which are kind of bi-directional) but not really. They are re-sets. Bi-Directional is activating your horn, rolling up and down windows, locking doors, AC compressor clutch activation, moving your gages, turning on and off coils or injectors etc. You can't do that with this scanner. But for the price, its an absolute bargain for what it does. It will read and reset codes, and also perform many other reset functions. For the DIY'er its excellent, and its also fast.
Jeep was in the menu, but you have to plug it in to see exactly what it will do with the jeep, and you don't know until you plug it in. Most scanners are like that.
A30M is bluetooth, and is suppose to do a lot. The only thing I don't like is you use your phone, but maybe its ok? I prefer the all in one scanners, and the ones that use your phone, I don't know. I don't have experience with those. They tend to be cheaper as you don't get a scanner and they use your phone instead. To be honest I'm not sure, as I have never used the A30M.
Definitely not pro, that's for sure, but for the DIYer who wants to perform resets and perform some trouble shooting I think its pretty good, especially for the price.

Thank you for the feedback, I never thought of that.
Thanks for taking the time to make this informative video.👍
Glad it was helpful and appreciate the comment. Thanks
Thanks for the review, seems to do a lot for the price
It does!
For that price point, there are many Bi-Directional scanners in the market. For North America, is Jeep Wrangler listed in the menu? Thanks.

Incorrect sir... It DOES support the ability to do an injector balance test. Under the special functions menu.
Between IP608 and A30M.. same price with a good deal. Which one would be best?

Ты выбрал какой в итоге?
NOT bi-directional, so does that mean it cannot code (change the cars options) the vehicle ? Just read faults and delete them, but not change them.
It can't code, or turn things on and off like a bi-directional, but in addition to reading faults it also has a bunch or reset and service features.
good
Thank you

An amateurs toy scanner!
